Oh thank god. Middle aged, not married, no kids. When they said, oh you've watched this far you must be a mom! 😬Nope... just enjoy your voices.
Julie and Camilla if your reading this You are super parents. LITERALLY. You both are influencers , parents and the owners of MILA. You both are superwomen. The way you both were so happy about him eating for the first time ( which you definitely should) just made my day. Sending prayers to Baby Sunny and his beautiful parents❤❤

As a survivor of an eating disorder, I feel that this process of presenting food as fun and enjoyable would have helped many of us, i'm glad it's happening today. I never make comments, but I wanted to thank you for being love and support on the other side of the screen I'm proud for all of us

This is exactly what I was thinking. I have also suffered from ARFID (and I do say suffer) and I just wish that my parents had access to this type of content and awareness. Instead I was called a pain in the ass and a difficult child, when I was in fact in pain. I am still called annoying sometimes but I know why and I couldn’t care less!!

omg i didnt even think about it, as soon as i started watching the video (i was hungry before clicking on the video but i just couldnt bring myself to eat anything) but while watching the video i naturally found myself eating, especially when Julie was explaining what the lil babie had....
@gab-kw8ln

@@emsrbrl the lack of resources and perhaps knowledge from trusted professionals would helped my parents and myself as well in dealing with ARFID. The number of times I remember being told to stay at the kitchen table and made to finish my meal are numerous (i.e. spending hours). My parents know better now but it certainly made things worse in the long run. Just as yourself I now no longer care as long as I'm happy eating my meal 😁
So glad to know you two have the CPR, rescue breathing, and airway clearing education. It is SO important and it's super scary to realize how many parents never get the training. PS Happy Mother's Day! (It's Mother's Day in the US.)

not a mom, not planning to be a mom, not wanting to be a mom, but I'm watching until the end because you guys are entertaining 😄 and for support, of course.
A tip on the food. Try serve food when you are also having a meal. Babies really do copy what you are doing and it helps a lot when they learn to eat by themselves. Well done on the variety of foods.

Ikr? This is the second journey (except Connor and Liana) when I've been here through the whole journey. It's amazing ❤
I'm only 19 and absolutely don't plan to have a child for a long time in the future but I'm learning so much about babies from you guys, and to my surprise I'm actually really enjoying it! Lots of love!
What helps our babies enjoy sitting in their chair for longer is everyone all eating meals together! Then they feel more like a part of the family, and there’s more modeling of eating the food. Hope this helps, from a BLW mama of two 💛
love seeing these two empowering women taking on motherhood and acing it!!
I am so happy that you get to shup up people that were saying "where is camilla?" "why are you the only one doing this?" on instagram. People forget that we don't know a bunch of stuff about you or your schedules, we just get to see a bit of it. Stop assuming and stop expecting both of them to be 100% watching Baby Sunny, first because that's impossible, someone has to work to get food on the table a roof over their heads and also because they have their own dynamic (which they don't HAVE to share if they dont want to) and it's working for them and Baby Sunny, that's all that matters. So funny how if you were a straight couple nobody would expect the husband to be taking care of the baby as much as the wife.

We have TONNES of het family bloggers ets and I never, NEVER saw any comments about men being present less than woman in parenting? Like they are truly mad bc Camilla doesn't post baby content so they decided that she's not present enough in the relationship like come on this is getting embarrassing
I'm currently living a relatively emotionally turbulent life, and this video brings me so much comfort. Your guys' voices, your enunciation, the soft aesthetics, the general calmness of both your beings, the messages ("we learn something everyday despite everyday not being great, and there's always a tomorrow!"), the way you aren't pushing baby Sunny but rather nudging him towards solids, your positive, forgiving and accepting attitude towards him not eating all of his food. This brings me so much joy and makes me so happy. Thank you.

I’m not even a mom and I watched the whole vlog😂 It’s really soothing just watching Julie cook for Sunny❤
Baby led weaning is certainly the way to go. I did this with my daughters almost 40 years ago. I did learn that putting a plastic backed tablecloth under the highchair helped with cleanup and kept my floors from becoming a sticky mess.
I’ve never seen a grown adult be as happy as Camila when offered food!! It’s soooooo sweet! ☺️
I'm not a Mama, still watched every second of it 😂 seeing how lovingly you both treat that baby and that journey healed something in me ❤
48:06 "If you've watch this far you're most likely a mom" 👀 Well... I'm not and don't plan to be to another human, but I am struggling with mental health, and seeing a baby cared for like this is giving me ideas for how to parent myself and be gentle to myself! I actually made myself pasta with a brocolli sauce as inspired by Sunny's meal after watching this Thank you for putting care and grace in this world, through those videos or through the mila app! It's unfortunately not the most common philosophy in our world, but watching you embody it like this is definitely helpful 🥦
Long form content is as good as the short forms! Thank you!!
Sorry this is gonna be a sappy comment, but I just appreciate your long form content so so much. As a queer growing up in a heteronormative world, it feels so wonderful to see a queer family. I can now imagine myself having a little queer family. Thank you
Just a tip, if you steam vegetable instead of boiling them, it keeps more nutrients in the vegetables (otherwise some of them go in the water) :)
EVERYONE GET UP! OUR FAVORITE LESBIANS POSTED!
Hi, I have a handy tip for the flax seed! I grind a bunch of seed in a blender and then mix the ground flax seeds with water so it turns in like a gel-like consistency. This way it can be mixed with different foods and it makes it easier to eat (and the texture is less lumpy). :)
You are such a comfort channel! I really love your vibe 🥹🎀
Don't ever apologize for long videos 😢 I adore them. Your energy is so calming and gives me good vibes❤
You are GLOWING Julie. Absolutely stunning to watch. You two are doing amazing as parents. I remember cooking loads of jars of pureed food for my first (she did NOT eat solid food for many, many months, no matter how much I tried). In a very short while I get to do it again for our second ^.^
Julie and Camilla, concrats on starting this journey. I’m so amazed to see that you’re giving him food daily and what good looking plates they are! My son is now 9 months. We started BLW too 3 mnths ago but I have to say we didn’t do it everyday. The mental load was just to much so it nly happened like 3x/week. But now we are at that point of almost daily and i’m having more fun with it. About the gagging, I learned that it’s much easier for baby’s to process trough the gagging and not choke than adults so that’s always calming to me. They are literally so good at learning and just need us to reaffirm them. Also, that Sunny likes fruit more is super normal. We are born with a preference for sweet food hence why our breastmilk is sweet :). You two are amazing parents and we are all thankfull to watch and learn from this journey. Also want to wish you guys good luck with the cleanup. That’s so unknown about BLW and can be very draining but we see you!
Im 8 months pregnant and your videos have been so comforting to me throughout my pregnancy so far. Love every second of them!
These videos make my week you make me feel safe and comfortable thank you so much for sharing your lives and spreading so much love and happiness ❤️
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO THE BOTH OF YOU! You're doing so amazing with sunny and he's growing up with wonderful mums
“Diner food is just a social construct”. Love that. Love having leftovers for breakfast. Eat whatever you want, whenever you want! ❤

I love seeing your responsible approach towards his upbringing, sending lots of love to all three of you💕
Sunny is growing up so quickly and is so lucky to have such amazing, supportive parents and we all knownhe is going to have an amazing life!
You’re doing amazing ❤ great BLW video! I’m glad you’re having as much fun making it as he is trying all these new foods.
You can allready see that he's learning how to bring the food to the mouth, how to grab both the food ant the spoone and even tho he didn't eat all or even at all. He discovered food, new textures, new smells and had a fun time with you two 🥰😍. I LOVED watching this! You'r spoilling us by giving us almoust 1 hour of cute baby video and food inspiration! 🥹🥰😍
Honestly you threes' videos are so adorable and healing, watching these is the most relaxing part of my day. Thank you so much for the video!
I adore you three! I’ve probably only been following you for about a year. I love LOVE, and I love you as a couple! You are both so positive, relatable, passionate, educated women. i cant believe hes so old now!!!!!! ur family is so beautiful!!! love you guys!!
I'm watching this as someone who was not given this kind of variety from a young age and I think it contributed a lot to my sensory issues with many different foods. Luckily I've overcome my aversion to most veggies, but I am still working on it. This is actually helpful from a standpoint of trying to imagine some meals that might push healthy boundaries and get me outside of my comfort zone to make better healthy choices. Silly as it seems!
you guys always make Sundays better 💗
I seriously think my favorite part of this video was just watching his sweet precious hands handling the food everytime! Loved that!
Awww!!! You guys are so adorable!!! ❤
First off, take a photo of Sunny every day at the beginning of his meal & another after he is done. The mess they make will oddly become a favorite photo op full of laughter & jokes as they get older. You don’t have to do it forever, just try to capture those normally forgotten moments, even if it’s just a little while! (my favorite photos of my now adult sons are 1) the first time my eldest had mashed potatoes at a restaurant for a family birthday & 2) my youngest having chunky peach yogurt for the first time & dumping the cup on his head & face before laughing hysterically about it for a good 2 minutes before grabbing his baby washcloth to clean himself up) Now, my eldest HATED getting cleaned up & my youngest HATED being dirty for more than a few minutes. So for both, we let them clean themselves up after meals & playtime. (if needed) We obviously helped a bit since they were too young to understand how to fully clean themselves, especially since we didn’t give them a bath every day. (except when absolutely necessary) Offer Sunny a damp cloth after he’s done eating. Even if he just throws it on the ground, sucks on it, ignores it, or cleans himself in the tiniest of ways, it’s still something new to learn about while giving him the added confidence & control, even if it’s only for a short time until you complete the cleanup. Or ignore this entire comment & do what works for you & your family!!!
I love the background music you put in these videos, so calming☺️🧸
There's so much love and care in this video and it's so nice to see. You can see the love in julie and camilla's faces as they look at sunny, it's so nice. 🥺
I could cry, watching you two speak to your son is the most incredible & beautiful thing to witness. What a joy that you share with us glimpses of this life you guys share & the memories you build together for Sunny🥹
I'm not a parent and not even an adult, but I love watching you guys on your journeys! I actually really liked this video. Seeing you offer so many different things to Sunny everyday just mad she really happy, and I would love to see more! Hope Sunny is doing well! Love you guys ❤

Can I just admit that my husband and I don’t have or will ever have any human kids (we’re 49) but it’s still such a joy to watch you two in your motherhood journey. I also love watching your videos as you both have such a happy “sunny” (heh) disposition and your videos never fail to lift my mood! So thanks for that and I must admit it’s amazing to watch my 2 year old Labrador try new things too! Love you guys. Much love and positive vibes from across the world in the US State of Montana. ✨💖✨
