I actually find it frustrating that you guys don't get the view counts or the sub numbers that you deserve. Your builds, work ethic, and overall quality should have you far and above a lot of other channels that frankly don't even come close to what you produce in builds and content, it seriously blows my mind. Anyhow, keep up the excellent work it is greatly appreciated.

@@TestarossaMusicista yeah, that's what I miss about this channel. It's as if they peaked with frs targa newfoundland etc and it's just been neither here nor there since then... their builds are mostly just basic bolt ons etc. Connie was an exception, maybe.

Honestly I'm kinda disappointed with how this JDM Legends series has seemed to kinda slowly fizzle out. I was looking forward to a big track battle between all the cars. Could have been a fun opportunity to try a longer extended MCM "movie style" episode. I'm sure that would involve a LOT of work, but I also have noticed you guys trying some new formats on the channel. (Which is great!) Seeing all the legends together compete in multiple challenges would have been AWESOME! Supra, RX7, GTR, Integra all have different pros and cons. Then throw in the new Corolla as a modern contender at the end. Could have been a fun way to introduce the car to the fleet! I know there was the Supra vs GTR episode but we've only seen the RX7 and S15 drive on industrial roads for a couple minutes. Love what you guys do! And I know it financially probably doesn't work. Just giving some feedback.

I second this. You guys build the absolute best cars using nothing but the best, thoroughly thought out parts, but the driving videos are non existent. What was once my absolute favourite channel, I find myself not watching anymore - as build videos are absolutely played out on YT these days. We need to see the cars in action. Just my 2c.

We had every intention to try to do a MEGA shootout but after the GTR/Supra track battle did poorly for views (We still don't understand why) and the S15/FD build series did even worse, we abandoned it. The effort and time and potential failures of one of the cars needs to have some sort of payoff. Trust us, we wish track videos did way better than they do because there's nothing more satisfying to go beat on a car at the track and show the results but when they don't do well, it really makes it hard both personally and financially to shoot them. The truth is people want to watch cars get built and at the most basic level (look how poorly the Celica has done when we went full resto-build spec). We have to strike a balance where we'll see the channel grow but still build/track what we want. That being said, we're looking for cheaper cars that we can build quickly and abuse on track without any worries.

The FD is the one I'd want to own the most. ... it's also the one I'd want to own the least.

Man, these legends were fun to watch. Excited for the new builds coming.

All were so cool to watch but considering of what is coming the NSX i can understand the sell part to fund that next build..

FD is by far my favorite. It definitely needed the next level of interior attention. Fresh buckets and a nice wheel, she'd be perfect.

Oh guys, I wish you did some track reviews with the FD and S15! Super sad to see these go but looking forward to that M3 build and a future NSX build! But don’t forget the track reviews!

I think what I’ve always enjoyed the most from your videos is watching attainable cars getting built in realistic ways and then thrashed on the track. The Jdm legends series was cool but definitely made me feel like you guys where high rolling and I don’t relate to that. Plus those cars have been built to death by every channel. One of my favorite series I recently watched was gears and gasoline and humble mechanic spending on 7k on old American sports cars. Like when you guys had that old mustang. More cars in and out would be neat, a short study on getting the best performance on the a low budget for a large variety of cars and layouts, like a gen 1 mr2, rsx, and or even a truck build like a s10

Agree. They used to do really technical videos and making regular cars perform on track. The last few years it's been -buy expensive car -bolt on sponsor parts -repeat

Sad day, but you are making an excellent choice.

I'd love to see an OEM+ NSX build - a lot of NSX are over-modded and look riced out.

I saw one at a cars an coffee that was basically an entire shitty fiberglass body kit. That beautiful car was completely ruined. Made me sad.

I'd take the supra, you guys did a fantastic build with it. That RX7 is very reasonably priced given the respray it got.

Ah, glad to see my rough FD shifter got to you and you were able to repair it. FYI the shifter is a little rough feel, but can be made better with certain transmission oil for the shifter. I remember that I preferred one oil over another in my FD. Sad to see no more content on these cars as I would love to see them go head to head on a track, but I know those videos don't do well for you guys sadly.

People just dont appreciate the hard work others do. Imagine seeing that nice modded supra and imagining it's too much. That's just where the market is, much to everyone's chagrine, but a nice car, let alone a Supra modded by SA is worth it in my opinion.

I think what makes all these cars appealing is that they are cars that the new owners will actually be able to take out and enjoy. Non of these are museum grade but are all well sorted and ready for a new life. If I had to pick one it would be the s15 simply for the rarity in the usa. Love the content!

It must be so sad, saying goodbye to these beautiful jdm legends. The RX7 is stunning but the supra "even though I'm not a supra fan" for me is mind blowing the work that you guys did..oh but then that radiator and intercooler setup on that FD is insane!! I just can't choose man. I'm so keen to see the nsx dream build🎉

I’ve been working on/building cars for decades and let me tell you I wouldn’t hesitate to buy any of these cars from you guys if I was in the market for it. They’re totally worth the prices you listed, anyone trying to lowball you doesn’t deserve any of them.

It's a shame that most of the people don't like to see track videos 😕 I really miss them but I understand that you need to do what people want to watch, but like you guys said basic builds on cheap cars and send them on track could be very fun to watch 🙂

I found my FD shifts alot better when i changed the oil to redline shockproof superlite, also running excessive manufacturing engine mounts helps alot too.

$67k USD is a steal price comparing wat I seen...I go supra MK4...my dream car...she's a beauty👍👍👍

For the smoker S15, I've tried the bombs and they help, but I've been told an ozone (O3) generator will get rid of the remaining smoke smells. I'm sure some other KZread'er has a good video for you on that one.

not at all unusual for the FD trans to be a little notchy. if it's not grinding it's good xD

Thats a great price for that car with the parts it has the quality of the paint and engine setup it has etc

put a couple of sliced apples in the s15, and spray the interior with fabreeze and downy (mixed 5050). especially the carpets (spray it every few days) after like a week the subtle cancer stick smell will be gone. i do this every time i buy a smoker's car.

The cars you all put together are some of the few modified cars I've seen that I would actually personally want, and this is from a person who works for a company that deals in modified cars, in Japan, next to Tsukuba circuit. Good luck selling them; I wouldn't. :)

What 3 amazing cars you have built. I remember when these were all within the realms of affordability and hanging out with the JDM crowd back in the day, you'd see them frequently. They're all hidden in garages now, not often seen. I have the Supra factory big brakes on my JZZ30 Soarer. While they're adequate and would have been good in the day, I also have an IS350 as a daily driver, which also has four pots - I rate them slightly higher than the Supra big brakes, in terms of pedal feel. My Soarer also has Work CR Kais - 8.5 up front, 9.5 at the back with +30 offset all round. Either way, your car looks great!

I'd keep the Silvia. It's just such a clean daily driver. One of my favorite builds.

I think I'd have to keep the Supra if I were to choose. But it is one of those cases where you have 3 different cars for 3 different occasions, sooooo all three?? Seriously though, they're all awesome builds. I follow you because I like your method of delivery and the production value, but also because you guys are so tasteful with your mods. You almost always build EXACTLY what I would build with time/money/space. I was reading the comment below about the track battles not getting the views which is disappointing and surprising. What really blew me away was when you said Connie wasn't getting the views! That is an AMAZING build and I have been hanging out for every single episode! I hope that's just a glitch in the Matrix and you get to do more builds like that because it's seriously epic. Keep up the good work, thank you for entertaining us with your top quality content.

It was interesting to see how different the cranking sounded after a warmup on the RX7. I can noticeably tell the difference

I read the title and couldn't wait to see what would be more special than what you already have.

FD trans is a little notchy by nature, especially when cold. The right fluid will help (Ford Motorcraft QS-M5-XT), as will NOT using a short shifter. But it's never going to be buttery smooth like a Honda.

I'll give you 125k for all 3! . . . . . is what I wish I could say... Sad to see em go but excited to see what comes next.

24:53 Those "Nice" noises coming from the turbo are an indication that it is getting back pressure to the turbo and that's not good for it. Although they are very cool sounds they are pushing the turbo back with unreleased boost air and it is hard on it. You might need a softer spring in your BOV.

All 3 of those cars were brought in to Australia. Terrific cars! NSX will be slower than Supra - unless you turbo it?

People would rather pay for rusted and hacked together junk then for a clean well put together car with quality parts smh

Man, the three are just absolutely well-done examples, but if I had to choose it would probably have to be the Supra. If I had more confidence in my technical abilities I would definitely consider the RX-7. Those would be the perfect rides for some of the winding roads around here in BC.

As cool as the jdm legend series is. I think you all should build and track more obtainable cars. Maybe DP builds a g35 and PT gets a 08 civic si. And do more of a gears and gasoline style gride life tour. Also the "build my ride" series was fun too.

They are all amazing cars and builds but I think I'd take the supra. The red is perfect and of course the 2j would be fantastic with the set up you have done to it. And rhd would suit me perfectly for here in Ireland.

Not sure what was the asking price for the Supra but the BBK and the KWs are literally what I would want a Supra to come with if I was buying it....

I think you could have used these cars for more channel growth personally, with a cheap second hand gopro in the engine bay and overlay engine sounds with a pov view of just street driving would have made exponential growth in my opinion. Anyway love the build content regardless.

These are great builds and I agree with the de-modding of the Supra as it’s not a track car. However, right hand drive and modded car problems piss me off. I’d rather have a modern 86 over any of these. No doubt these will sell though. Bring on the Morizo!
