First I want to say thank you Clay. I met you Sunday at Virginia motorsports Park. I’m the one that called you Mr. KZread I just want to say thank you for taking your time out to take a picture and sign an autographed even though you were heading to driver introssuper much appreciated
For this team to expose as much as they do and run as well as they do is amazing. I fully understand why coverage must be cut short. No worries YOU'LL ALWAYS BE MY FAVORITE TOP FUEL IF NOT DRAG RACER.
You are correct. You are the only team that brings us behind the scenes. The sport needs more teams like yours. You are giving the fans an insiders look at what goes on in a race team. The fans are the reason this sport exists. I am so thankful you make these videos! I am glad I got to shake your hand in Epping!
Thanks to the entire team for being as 'camera friendly' as you all are. It's cool to get so many different perspectives, from the clutch guy to the owner, and it's a rare thing in motorsports today. Keep on creating awesome content and giving us all a peek behind the "Nitro Curtain".
Clay,Jim-o, and crew,y'all rock! Nobody's gonna hate y'all for keeping secrets, Jim-o. Keep the content coming, Clay. Peace
Please keep my buddy John Force in your thoughts and prayers after this terrible accident I really love the guy a really great person.

@@deelowe3 The latest information is that he is still hospitalized in ICU and continues to be observed and evaluated.
The conditions there were horrific. Fans need to understand that half the field goes home after the first round. Soften the tune-up, it wads the tires up. To win an event, you have to make 4 passes better than someone else makes 3. Shutting off early to avoid launching a blower or oiling the track is just part of it. Good job to all. You're balancing KZread fame and driving just perfectly.
I've learned more about top fuel racing in the last few months that I found this , than I have my whole life. I'll 68. Thank you so much for letting us feel like part of the team. Keep on keeping on and be safe.
It most be special for a rookie like Stewart to race a legend like Clay Millican.
Jim O's under zero obligation to share data with the masses as this level of racing is off the table to anyone outside of running a TF car. The dash is plenty and Jess going over the mechanics of the pedal and the timers was definitely a treat so thank you for that, Clay. We'll keep cheering you on as always. God Bless!
The connection with the team and crew chief is what I’m most impressed with
Yea that sucker was ready to GO.. sounded like when Cliff idled mine up to ride around the pit to warm it up 😁
Thanks for the explanation from Jimmo, it all made sense to me. I've actually been really surprised how much you guys do share, I appreciate it. Keep up the good work, you're definitely one of my favorite YT channels.

Clay! That was crazy cool!!!!!
Clay and Jim O. are pure class acts!
Clay, I hope you know how appreciated your channel is for us Drag racing fans. I’ve learned so much about the inner workings of fuel cars watching your videos. I appreciate the fact that Rick, Jim O. And the kids seem to like what you’re doing as well. It adds so much to the experience to know the why’s and how’s. Thanks!
I get why everybody wants to I got to admit this is the biggest joy for me I just turned 75 it was pretty good at racing when I was younger and I never told anybody and then all the sudden I realized I'm old enough to tell people how come my Motors ran so good and it was mostly how I figured out how to get rid of friction you guys are really great I really enjoy you you know Clay you and your sister and your team are the best thing in the world right now to watch the news is tough you guys bring joy

Happy 75th 'ol feller. I turned 77 a couple months back and agree with you 100% about his family, Clay and the entire Rick Ware, PartsPlus Top Fuel drag racing team. Like you I as well did some drag racing "back in tha day". Street racing in the mid 60's on the boulevards of Portland, Ore. then came a family to raise,,, so racing went to the back burner but the desire didn't. Kids all graduated from high school by mid 1980's. Now it was my turn to pull into tha beams. Mid 80's thru early '90's enjoyed having a SuperGas/ProGas car,, raced all over the Pacific NW til my retirement money was going to be threatened because I was spending wayyy too much so racing again was dropped but I was happy because I at least had the opportunity to fulfil a young motorhead teens dream,, to drag race "FOR REAL". Now thanks to KZread I get to enjoy watching others do what I did and do love so much,, G's man,, loved to feel more G's!! that my 9 second ChevyII Nova gave me.🙂

Thanks for all the great content you give us, Clay! You show so much more than other teams do. Plus, you allow your sister to livestream the pit area when she is there. Hopefully, Norwalk will be much better for ya'll, and John Force will make a full recovery.
"We're going to give him plenty of time to sign autographs after the first round." See, this is why you are such a stand up sportsman. Kudos for being so considerate of your fellow racers.
Fox doesn't give the fans the real stuff we want to see I've learned so much about these things from this channel
Clay, you need to include Jim and Nick in your videos. Love both Jim O and Nick. Leave the secret stuff out but, both of them with you is so entertaining. Especially Nick
I must agree with most other comments, I was quite shocked watching your first videos of the stuff you were showing . So I understand why you shouldn't plus how do you have time. People like Brent and Kevin right in the mix I love it!
Jimo, we are TEAM Millican fans. Clay is the spokesman for the team as a whole.
Clay and JimO, I always reveled in splendor while watching your post lap debriefs and found it so interesting to learn about all the factors and details that come into the discussion. Hearing Clay's description of the way the car behaved and feeding that into the discussion was fascinating. After years of being a Top Fuel fan and attending races, I always craved to understand how decisions where made given the variety of variables that come in to play; weather, track surface, altitude, upcoming lap circumstance,.... Learning about the technology and systems that make a run possible kept me coming back. Seeing Rick Ware enter into the dialog and his gaining understanding run after run was also a great insight to a TF team. I always marveled at the openness and candor that each of these videos delivered and having said that, I understand why it may not be the best thing to do all the time. Either way, I enjoy your videos and will always watch. Your team is so interesting and your interactions with other drivers and friends is always great. And also, I remember when John Force reported seeing Elvis :). I too am hoping that he makes a fast and full recovery. I will be at Sonoma this year and am looking forward to it! Thanks for all your efforts!
Clay, you and Jimmo are G.O.A.T.S. ALSO!! And I am beyond impressed and amazed at how much contest you do get to put out. And no race car series will ever show everything because which ever team has found something mostly legal or all legal, Y'all can't be condemned by not wanting every other racer to try your same setup.. You should keep some of the info learned secret but you don't want your competitors to beat you with something Y'all learned from trial and error. Better luck next race 💞🤗💞🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻GOD BLESS YOU ALL AND Y'ALL'S RESPECTIVE FAMILIES NOW AND ALWAYS 💞🤗💞🙏🏻🙏🏻 LOVE YOU AND YOUR PRECIOUS FAMILY AND TEAM FAMILIES NOW AND ALWAYS 💞🤗💞🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Jim o is an absolute gem of a man, got yourself a good crew chief that's for sure 🤙🇦🇺
Thank you for allowing us to see so much. You and the entire RWR team are so generous and friendly. I hope to see you at the US Nationals this year.
As much as I appreciate what you do share, I have to admit, I just can't get enough of the technicals. In fact, it's because of you I've renewed my interest in drag racing. My first race was the AHRA Summer Nationals at Long Island"s National Speedway in 1970. Thanks for all your efforts.
Thank you clay and team for bringing us all this awesome coverage we truly do appreciate it 😊 I got my fingers crossed for you for Norwalk 😊
Thanks for taking us subscriber's along for the ride. ✌️👍🤙🤙😁😎🍀🍀🍀🍀🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲.
Thanks for all you do and share. It’s plenty of action. Been watching drag racing since the 70’s, nothing better. I’m with a lot of the fans that say keep the power and the length of the race is perfect. Keep stomping on that loud pedal!
Sooooo GLAD to see Clay & the team kicking butt! Great way to start the day! 🎉❤🎉❤🎉
It started just after the burnout but settled down. some times you can be as perfect as possible tuning the rocket, but can't predict when a part will fail. Keep the faith Clay!
I 100% agree that I miss the round-to-round commentary, but I really have no clue how you guys could pull it off from day 1. Glad I got to experience what I saw and I'll inferr what happens from now on. Keep the cameras down when needed and STOMP ON THAT ENTER KEY!!!!! Wait a second. . .STOMP ON THAT LOUD PEDAL!!!!
You share so much with your fans and I totally understand why some things can’t be shared…after all this is a business and very competitive. That was wild on the starting line..but you did a great job holding that beast and your light was amazing!!! This team is so good and you’re awesome!! Wallys will be coming and will continue to support you guys!! Thanks for all you do keeping us hooked up!!! Good luck in Norwalk and enjoy the ice cream!!!
We appreciate what y’all do & are able to share. Whew, I thought Jesse was gonna blow a gasket there for a second when the idle wouldn’t adjust. Jim’O seemed cool as a cucumber, and I figured he just said, “well poop (s#!+)….send it!” Sorry y’all had trouble, go git em at Norwalk.
Love seeing you out here each week!!💥💥 stomponthatloudpedal in Norwalk!!
Clay - No need to explain yourself - Those "COUCH POTATOES" Who want more filming between rounds - Need to get their 'BUTTS' to a NHRA event and experience what's going on in between rounds or qualifying!! Some are 'CLUELESS'!! Thanks for all you do!! SOTLP!!!

I’ve been to a handful of NASCAR races (back in “the day” before the Chase and stage racing) and spent a couple of summers with a neighbor helping with his Hobby Stock car on some of the red dirt tracks here in Georgia - but there is nothing like experiencing a NHRA event in person.

@@kennyking3255I am a firm believer that everyone should go to a NHRA National Event, NASCAR Cup race preferably at a short track and a super speedway, Indy 500, Unlimited Hydroplane race and a F1 race because they are all amazing spectacles to attend
I do miss the salon download too, but hold you cards close to your vest! You and your team are the best! I wish I was on your team, all theory, no experience..I could be your towel girl and wipe your eyes!
God's blessing poured out over this whole TEAM ! thanks Jesus..... thanks Clay ! Thanks JimO/Nicky/Rick/crewchieftothewheelwipers! .... all the love a fan can give to all y'all!
Back in the day, the guys threw a shop rag over what they didn't want seen. I'm old. The first nitro car I saw was Bruce Larson's USA-1 Camaro at Shuffletown Dragway near Charlotte in 1969. Stomp on that loud pedal! Let's go! Now on to 200,000 subscribers.
Love the POV down the track during the run!! I don't recall seeing these before. Regarding the injector, maybe it became self-aware (AI) and was stomping on the loud pedal for you!
I can't imagine the time spent on filming and editing. Totally understandable, you have enough to do in 45 minutes. Leigh does a great job when she makes it there. All the best for the remainder of the season.
I've always been amazed that you would show as much as you do show, so not showing as much, all OK. We got treated like royalty with THE BEST behind the scenes content. Even without the Jim-O discussions, still THE BEST behind the scenes content. Thank you for the content and all the team for allowing you to record them working. As far as Norwalk, it's my home track. Unfortunately I won't be there, but I'm watching every minute. I hope all comes together and you get to get the Ice-Cream Scopp from Bill Bader at the end of the day. Enjoy a pound of ice cream for me. I do have a question: Does your team have a track specialist? Thanks.
Thank you RWR for allowing us to be with Clay. Question? What is engine RPM at the line when Clay takes his foot off the clutch?

Hi Clay! Thank you for everything you and your team do and share with us! It's really nice and it's right that some things remain confidential. I follow you from Italy, I raced for 2 years in the Italian drag bike championship with a nitrous oxide Suzuki, my dad was always with me at the races and also together we watched your youTube channel. Now unfortunately he is no longer here, I always follow you and I hope one day to be able to take a trip to the USA and meet you in person! Ciao!
I for one am grateful for what you show us. Thank you to the whole RWR team for being awesome
Thank you Clay! You rock brother! Thank you for allowing us to get as close to what you do without being in the car! I’ve always wanted to know what it’s like, and always thought I could do it. Now, 🤔 I’m not so sure! Probably soil myself 😂😂! Anyway thank you man, keep stomping that loud pedal! Oh see you in Indy, Dallas, and Vegas!!!
The best clip was Nicky “ there’s a twister 10 mins out” and slams the door. Thanks for the explanation Jim O and Clay, you guys are great team to watch. Hell you made a fan out of me. I’m normally watching dirt racing.
I heard and saw on your dash the idle going up and saw Jim doing something that wasn't usual so I knew something wasn't right. As far as your talks with Jim and sometimes Nicky I just enjoy what you two or three can share when you can. Better luck next week Clay.
Clay. You’re the best. I’ve met you on a few occasions. So just sayin. You guys ever need a CDL driver for your rig, I got you bro. I’d do it for free. Just feed me😂 Spotless record. Spent my WHOLE life as a die hard drag racing fan!!! Keep killin it Mr. Millican. I don’t expect a response, but I just had ta say. Peace brother.
It sounded,,, funny right from the start, that was crazy, thanks clay, your the stomp on that loud pedal Guy, thanks BigAl California thanks Rick Ware praise Jesus Christ grace amen
Clay, my dad used to run a mechanical hilborn injection setup on a car and if he set all 8 butterflies on the bench, they would bind once the intake was on the car. We had the same issue setting it up at room temp on the car because the atomization of fuel changed the “running” temp of the injectors. I don’t think you would have that kind of issue with a carbon fiber injector but boy did it take us some time to figure out how to set up that old hilborn system so the car was happy on the track.
New subscriber, found your channel through some of the street oriented channels. Never got into these cars because I didn't know anything about them, or understand them. Really appreciate you taking us behind the scenes and giving people an opportunity to learn about these things.
I life for Jim'os interviews too What pressure would the Canon see when it broke lock up finger against Tony approx All best dobbo , retired Santo driver in old kalitta car days cheers guys p.s go for it Clay
10:28, you can even see the fuel pressure creeping up. I remember the pass now how the car was creeping forward before it left.
The car was just saying "LET'S GOOOOO" !! At least it didn't totally "run away" and grenade. That would've really sucked. And yeah it's nice when you guys let us all in on your hangin' out times, but if it means going out 1st round in order to have time to do it ? Then we'll be ok without it !!! I have a feeling you'll be "stompin' " all the way to the final next week🙂!!
I also really enjoyed the team Prayer that you used to share. True team unity / mentality.
I know a Super Comp driver back in the late 80’s that blasted his competitors car with EMI at about 1,000ft for 1/2 to 1 second which would cause the car he was racing to stumble and of course loose the race.
Jim were not just clays fans were team milican fans. You're a wealth of knowledge and any info or explanation you give is great to hear
I certainly understand the necessary changes to your format. Absolutely no apologies needed. I do miss the between rounds discussions but you have to do what you have to do. I enjoy listening to Jimo almost as much as listening to you. He's a great guy! Now if you could just get Nick to come out of his shell.........!

The content is great, Clay and JimO provide more than what is deserved. I appreciate all that is shared. I'm learning more and more every video and applying some of what is presented to my personal life.
Love you Clay, Pass our love to your crew and especially Jimbo.. Remember that Jesus has you covered in His Blood. And it's not cheating unless you get caught. Jeff Gordon quote 😂👍 Praise the Lord 🙏🙏🙏
REMEMBER, Many families and even children are following your team because Clay has let us in on the inside of what really happens, including the "office talk". We understand the intellectual property issues and your track secrets. If you can get into the bullpen, sure that is cool. Just don't forget why we are here. Driver, tunner banter is always amazing.
Love ya clay from pittsburgh pa!!! Your the best my friend!!! & if anyone complaines about the wind or noise then they shouldnt watch cause when you stomp on that loud peddle thats all you'll hear!!!! lol lol Keep up the great & 1st hand vids of what it takes to wrench & drive that beast!!!! ❤❤❤

Miss the lounge chats but fully understand. Thanks for all you do for us

You're way too nice of a guy Clay. I say let the haters and cry babies hate and cry and keep doing you buddy. You will never please the trolls.
What a great team you have. Keep up the great work 🇬🇧👊
The whole NHRA family seems to be the chillest group out there
Thanks for another great video Clay, really enjoyed the chat with Jim O
Sorry about your bad luck. Look forward to see you in Norwalk. It's going to be better weather. Your team can turn things around
Clay and the team so sorry to hear what happened this weekend I know you guys fixed what happened and you'll be ready for next weekend good luck and get the win
Another top-of-the-line video Clay! Jim O is right about the Aussie heat, during summer if you dawdle when crossing the road to the beach, your rubber thongs (flip flops) can melt to the road. Feet get burned all the time, we don't mess around down here. I sent a message to Alan (HNRA) about his answer to you, he messaged back a thank you. The interwebs are great for those kind of things.
Thanks for sharing Appreciate whatever you’re willing to share. It was good to see Jimbo again I sure do miss seeing him and his thoughts and explanations.
High definition cameras can see your computer screen data.
Thanks again Clay for another awesome video. You the man and grateful Leigh channel which she’s doing a great job on. 😊
Clay, I can understand the desire to keep data and such a secret. However I do really enjoy the lounge banter, so maybe try a compromise, instead of between rounds, just do like this video, a weekend recap. Either way be safe on the tracks, I mayvtry to come see ya at Norwalk!
Damn great to be able to see behind the scenes with y'all. Keep rolling brother.
Hey Clay.... You just keep putting them out here and we'll just keep on watching brother! Now about that idle..... Maybe you can push it a little harder from now on but.... On purpose! Lol and This heat needs white Clay. In the beginning of this video with you Tony and the Mac tools driver, his fire suit and I'm sure his crew is in white also, is keeping their guys a lot more comfortable in 104 degrees than you guys are. Please reconsider your fabrics and go with a white uniform on those 90 and above days and the whole atmosphere will change a little due to lowering the body temps out there in the blazing sun. Air condition techs wear white in summer for a reason..... Use a point and shoot temp gun and do some investigating for yourself. A cooler crew is a happier and more productive crew and will catch the things the crew that's boiling over will miss. Talk to the Mrs on this one. 90+ wear white! Great job. Good luck and as always.... Hope it helps! Later! J Poll.
Jim is at the top of the best fuel crew chiefs out there. It’s amazing how the casual fan thinks it’s so easy to get a 10,000hp top fuel dragster or funny car down the track on a flawless run with all 8 cylinders and perfect traction.
Great effort team great footage Clay. Difficult conditions. Moving forward good luck for next week end. 😊.
Thanks for all you do. We had planned to go to Richmond, but life got in the way. Hope to see you at the Grove and maybe next year at the Gators Gatornationals
I heard it blip and raise after the burnout. I was like "that's not normal sounding".
Great video again. I totally get it ; first and foremost you all have a job to do so I am fine without the lounge interviews. Good luck at Norwalk.
Dang Clay I’m all for you chopping the tree down like that on every pass!!! Tough break for the team this weekend but you can’t have a good one without having a few bad ones too!!! Now that it’s out of the system I’m hoping you guys can get back to the other side of the coin of going rounds getting to the finals and some bonus points for doing something amazing that no one else has done before!!!! See you this coming weekend and have a great trip to the next track!!!
Your a good man clay! you will be back i see nothing but great things coming to you!
Just put a towel over the throttle pedal and all of your secrets will be safe😁. It seems like the alky funny cars leave at extremely high rpm's, maybe that's the next new discovery that a little more rpm is good.
I thought at first you folks were using a TAD technique! Met you also on Sunday, Clay. Hope you guys come visit up.
Clay Jim O The Crew Are Great Thank You Rick Ware.
@9:18 That two-step son!!!! Hit that trans break. #Topfuel ready for Northwest National’s july baby
Well, Clay, just thank the Lord as good of a driver as you are, and with your experience, you knew what to do and how to do it. That could have been catastrophic in a different set of hands. THEN, you handled it like a real man. On your side Bro, keep up the good work, your reward is on its way. God Bless you and all your men
Love the coverage. Best on any platform. Thanks.
