Staff did well. The forecourts only have a few pence over or under that they can charge for the fuel. We're being screwed by the companies and even more by the tax man who we pay duty and then tax on the duty to.

We the People have the power to get forecourt fuel prices down very simply. ONLY fill up at the cheapest station in your area, even if you have to travel a few miles to do so. That will quickly send the message that fuels need to be reduced at the pump to a more sensible price and the higher ones who are 'profiteering' will soon reduce their prices in order to get back a share of the local market.

Totally agree with you. I've heard Tesco fuel is not good quality. It may not be the same everywhere. These days, I use super petrol, I've heard dodgy things about the new fuel they brought out, although no solid evidence

@@tommcdermott5641 Well, if you need fuel and can't wait till their next tanker drop then you have to get it from somewhere else. If that is the case then go to the cheapest one in your area that still has fuel - the power to drive down prices is STILL in your hands is it not?

As a Trader I can tell you the reason why the price was high is because the Oil was bought when the price was high,Just because the price oil or gas drops does not mean price drops straight away, Strange concept but true.

I like this guy, he gives them a very light toasting and not a hard grilling but still holds them to task and if they're congenial until the end then he is but idiots who start getting silly and nasty just show themselves up

Half of these petrol stations are franchised and they do rip off joe public Best we all go fill up elsewhere if that is possible then these greedy buggers will soon learn

How they rip people off is they put there prices up as oil prices go up .if they fill there tanks up they should keep the price the same price till that runs out.not buy at the cheap price and put up the price at the new prices.

Have you not noticed who are operating BP fuel stations that are charging the most. Its why my money goes into others pockets not theirs.

Fair play to the Issa brothers too. If people are daft enough to pay 10p a litre more for petrol/diesel when there's always another garage within at the most half a mile then more fool them. I just wish I'd thought of it sooner.

2019 and 2020 till early March the main roads took (I'm xtra careful when crossing as I got knocked over when i was 11 ,Ys ago but still take care) and it was packed with cars and jeeps beeb beep! - still like beeeeeeeep every day lol,but still not packed with cars as I can cross more quicker so more on bikes ,scooters ,or bus ect.

TBF, these garages are owned by the fuel companies, so employees such as the guy on the till have no input and don't benefit from the rip off prices. If anything, they probably get ripped off with shit wages. Don't forget it is this shit government with an unelected PM (again) that has us over twice for pump price for doing nothing - fuel tax and VAT. Notice the guy in woolly hat didn't want to engage with you at start, then later when behind the screen with his mate, got all gobby. 🤣

He lives in Preston so can charge what he likes 😂
