'We're just friends.' Are you? | Emotional Boundaries Pt. 2
You say you're friends, but you can't go a day without him/her.
These emotional boundaries will help you assess where you actually stand, and guide in putting your relationship in the right place.
Why I've stressed on opposite gender friendships is because those are harder to keep on track, especially if ya'll get along very well. Some might say you get along better with the opposite gender than your own, that it's possible to have a best friend/close friends of the opposite gender. While that may be true (I haven't seen it work), there's all the more reason to exercise these simple emotional boundaries so that you keep great friendships for the long haul.
Should friends of your gender be closer than friends of the opposite gender? Personally, I've seen this to be wise, simply because you can get very close with your girls/guys, without things getting complicated. My girl-friends taught me this, and I'm so grateful.
If you need to share things about your life and you've no friends except of the opposite sex, focus on building relationships with God/ your parents/ mentors/ someone your gender. Again, if you're gay, this gets very hard to explain! I mean the side you're not attracted to. :P
You'll find that there are people outside those you're attracted to, who can actually help you and keep you accountable in life. You'll find that these relationships take effort to keep but are life-saving. You'll find that you can in fact live without a constant battling crush and begin to enjoy healthy relationships. :)

Omgosh! I made this huge mistake, im struggling to move on...he broke my heart n moved on soo fast , he was not evdn Christian
Why parents/mariage should be second, after God, but before Best friends? I've never had a good relationship with my parents. Recently it's better but still my best friends are higher in this hierarchy. Is it wrong? What do you think about it?

It is no wrong especially if your parents are abusive and your friends are so much more caring. Bible itself talks about abusive parents and the value of good friendship. "Do not forsake your friend or a friend of your family, and do not go to your relative’s house when disaster strikes you-better a neighbor nearby than a relative far away."- Proverbs 27:10. If a friend is more closer to your heart than your relative including your parents, then you can abide by them more than your parents.
what if you're more likely solitary (*INTROVERT -although friendly at the same time when you should to 🤣🤷♀️ lol / in a situation which requires of you… but mostly “asocial” 😶), AND they are who just approach more to you… and you kinda like them (in friendly way…).❔so you are also curious about them and… 😅🤔
