We’re Headed to the Regional!! The Reed’s Road to Loretta’s ep.6

Last day of racing here out at Briarcliff MX, and it has been one major step going through the area qualifiers. We may have made some mistakes along the way, but that is honestly one of the best ways to learn and the little wins are what we take home and cherish as we go! The kiddos learned so much through this whole process and we are excited to see how much more they'll progress as we head onto the regionals! Back to the practice track 🙌🏼
Welcome to TwoTwoTV! We're the Reeds. Chad Reed is a multi-time Supercross and Motocross champion and the record holder for the most main event starts in AMA Supercross history, with 265 starts! Ironically when Chad retired from racing, the kids decided to start. It’s a full-circle movement for the Reed family. Join us as we navigate retirement and start again. We bring you on the journey as our kids learn with Chad and Ellie. Taking a fresh approach to coaching and learning with a major focus on fundamentals and solid foundations. Our hope is the viewers can also learn and be inspired as the kids strive for their own success in this great sport. We hope you enjoy the ride!

Thank you all for sharing so much with us. Moto was a huge part of my growing up, so many highs and sadly so many more lows. After my brother broke his back at Loretta's after draining everything we had as a family for 10 years has left him in and out of prison believing that was who he is and all he had. I ride, never approaching my brother's talent. I couldn't even watch the sport for many years. I am pleased that for the last year or so I'm back addicted and it's brought my Pop and me together every Saturday to armchair race. Watching your family work through the process has been healing. Thank you all

Truth. My dad worked his arse off to put food on the table and allow my mother to be a ‘stay at home mom’. We had a VERY old 1/4 midget race car to play with, but never a dirt bike. My youth was spent visiting the local Honda/Yamaha dealers and dreaming of having one for my own. Fast forward many years and one thing led to another with me being part of one of the most successful off-road racing teams ever. I was blessed with several Baja 1000 wins and multiple SCORE/HDRA championships. It is so great to watch your children get to experience something that very few kids get to. You are great parents and I am excited to see the adults that you are raising.

Tate ik you already know this thru your dad but this is motocross nothing comes easy with winning in this sport! Your gonna get to the top level as long as you listen to your dad and mom and whoever is close around you guys. Keep your head up on bad races..damn near brings a dad of myself who didn't make it gettin my daughter in racing to tears. Your progression seems great without a doubt. My dad did his best and now helps both my daughter and I when we go racing. But your dad is a legend listen, learn,be patient and build. Being the best dont happen overnight but watching your vlogs it almost seems like it!! Keep up the work Reed family my daughter and I are huge fans of the grit and work ethic!

Great job kiddos! Kiah is getting closer to uncorking even more impressive speed! Tate with tears of Passion. I think we saw similar from AC9 over the weekend. You can give 100% effort and not get the desired outcome when you want. Chad, no one should be denied SX lol. We've all missed Pace Setter Reed and patiently await his big bike test. Looks like Ellie had an enjoyable time running her team. Great job all around Team22.

You kid's rode great!! No crashes, good fast pace for the both of you. Tate try not to be so hard on yourself, now you know what to do for your next start. Just lucky you didn't go down when you lost control of your front end. You still did good Tate. Kiah you're flying out there, your speed and jumping confidence is showing with every race you participate in keep it up Kiah. And keep learning from your mom and dad. Chad and Ellie keep up with the great support. And hello to Pace.

And all these mudder races are equipping Tate for that pro motorcross career. When he takes a win at Daytona in 8 or 10 years because he rode in the mud so much as a youngster!! Keep up the great videos CREW22. Luke 9:62

Tate Reed, two years ago you could barely get through a set of rollers. Your dad hit the nail on the head, progression takes time, unfortunately you cant skip experience and your riding against guys who have a lot more than you do. Many years ago, before you kids rode. He said, you cant make someone a champion, they ever have it or they don't. He wouldn't be doing this if he didnt believe you both have what it takes. Keep your chin up mini Chad,,, your the only guy I know who is harder on himself than he was hehehe

Not trying to be mean but tate ya gotta stop getting some emotional and crying if you have a bad day, everyone has them. Gotta get mad about it instead of upset and crying and go work on what you did wrong. New tracks are always tough, especially LL qualifiers and racing guys that have ridden that track for years and know it way better. You’re still doing a hell of a good job and you’re only going to get better. Keep it up!

He’s a kid man, they get emotional. Him not showing emotion is what should be worrying. Him showing emotion also shows how dedicated he is to the sport & his father’s advice & guidance. I personally love seeing youngins get emotional for not doing as well as they hoped, because it makes them better next time.

I get that but he should be old enough now to know better than to cry. I could understand at a big race like Loretta’s, but gotta keep it together because those kind of emotions won’t get you to the top. You’ve gotta get pissed off when you have a bad day, not cry when you have a bad day. Not trying to knock on him at all, he’s fast as hell especially compared to where he was just a year or so ago. Just a little constructive criticism for him.
