There are some situations where the generation of a person can be going through pains and suffering because of one key person in that generation. Like Achan (Joshua 7:1-26) Even in the Kingdom, Jesus death affected the generation (i.e those who are born again) So there are cases like that; negative influence by the force of one person coming on his generation. you need to inquire about it and still be praying let mercy prevail over that Judgment.
