We're Given MYSTERY Eggs to Hatch!

Today a couple of our friends saved some reptile eggs from some kids who were digging them up on a sandy beach. They brought them to us so we can incubate them and release once they've hatched. But the big question is... WHAT THE HECK ARE THEY?! Comment your guesses below!

I love how they are so nice Like most little kids i know would stomp on them But these kids not only saved these eggs, but also found out they were reptiles, knew to look for veins, not to rotate them, and took them to a friend they knew would take care of them. Props to them!

hey I've done some research and I've found some info; i have come to the conclusion that *the ping-pong shaped ones* are most likely to be *snapping turtle eggs* because of their roundness and *they are native to both Minnesota and Wisconsin.* as for *the oval ones* , you said that they look like they were *laid just recently* right? I've done some research and found that *painted turtle eggs are also oval-like in shape* and guess what? *painted turtle eggs get laid around late spring and mid summer.* which is around *June 20 - June 26!* and this video was posted on *June 27* so there are pretty good odds that the oval ones are *painted turtle eggs.* *they are also native to Minnesota and Wisconsin* too so i am pretty sure about this.

When I was a kid I was the type to calmly take out critters from the house and put em outside, I'd then get pissed when friends or family would freak out and kill or mess with them😂 I even figured out how to handle bees without the little guys freaking out( holding flowers in the crack of the finger closest to the palm, hold the hand nestled in amongst other flowers and bees usually come by, at that point gently lift up the hand) I really wish more kids were taught how to respect and respond to nature, scary to think that most kids are taught fear by their carers rather than respect.

I am happy that these people saved these eggs because one time me and my friend found baby snapping turtle eggs and there was a bunch of crushed yolk and stuff all over the road and we were like why would you stop on them but no reason so we tried to save them and we like the middle little nest near her camper because we found them at my camp and unfortunately another animal got to them but we still trying to save them

Right?? Not egg related but I had to let an orphaned baby mouse outside because my mom wouldnt let me raise it. It was still just a little pinkie and I cried about it for a whole week. I don't think I forgave my mom for that. 😭 making me murder a baby basically..

Those girls were very smart to use the sand to put the eggs in and to also bury them! Also I think the eggs are that the circle ones are maybe paints and the ovals are maybe snaps. If the eggs were being thrown around I wonder if they were thinking “What the- Oh jeez this hurts.” And then when the girls brought them they were like “It stopped brothers and sisters! WERE FREEEEEEE!”

  • @superponymon9769

From doing some research, I think the spherical eggs are probably snappers, while the oval eggs are likely going to be a smaller species like the map turtle or painted turtle.
