One of my friends mentioned that John is more badass compared to Doomguy or V1 for the sole reason that he went up against demons and demonic beings with nothing but a cross for a majority of the plot, as well as the fact he is just a guy with knee issues, and zero superhuman strength.

​@@joemama2737 Its like he isnt some invincible or untouchable being, Hes a *mere human.* And that makes his character much more badass I do agree tho that (imo) this _doesnt_ make him any *better* than Doomguy, V1, John-117, Isaac Clarke or Gordon freeman, hes still included in the list of great video game protagonists tho
