Someone needs to make a movie cos the editing and sound this week has been beyond epic.👏👏👏 In 35 minutes we were treated to a little bit more of heaven being created. Good day Emily, Sunday’s come round again. Marvellous opening sequence tell her, she’s good….and congratulate her on the gate! Obviously, apart from the trailcam, you digging up the garden for the pavers was this weeks highlight and using expert ‘stomping’ technique. It’s all coming together. We definitely approve of the lighting - plenty in our small garden. Nice shot of AJ in the blanket at the end. Next week’s glimpse looked ‘interesting’ judging by your comment! Such a lovely vid! And, you got me do it! Assembled and installed one partly pre-fab fencing section and one gate with latch. Charged up the battery powered yellow drill and just envisioned how you did it all. Your awesome rehab of the property is absolutely inspiring to the max. And, yeah, that's me at 67 years old and super rusty with tools and such, and it's already made such a helpful difference here. Thanks ladies!!!🪛💘

You already inspired me to learn to use a drone for footage (so I went to CEX only a week ago and been really enjoying it) - now I find out the drone they had in stock is the same as your recommended manufacturer! I've said it before I'll say it again. . .the editing that goes into these videos even in the 1st 30seconds is just insane 👏👏.

I’m just green with envy. That barn is transformed and you have months ahead of you, with a genuinely nice place to relax after your labours. But do check it for structural integrity, before the winter. They’re lethal, when they come down! I’m still in awe, looking at the standard of work Louise can turn out with only the most basic tools. I used to feel proud when I produced something that was both recognisable and functional, using hand tools. If you had to lift it up a bit, or jiggle it a bit, to make catches, or bolts line up, that was characteristic of a handmade item. The advent of power tools changed all that and now it’s either right, or it’s the other thing… But, look at those gates, made with a crosscut handsaw and an old drill. BTW, kudos for still having batteries for that! I ordered batteries for mine, about 3 years ago, which I’m still waiting for. On the up side, expecting it might take a week or two for them to come, I bought myself a complete drill kit in LiDL that came with two batteries and a charger, along with a load of accessories, for cheaper than one battery for my DeWalt, on my way home. I expected it to last until the batteries came. 3 years on, it’s looking promising. Still no DeWalt batteries, but PARKSIDE is still doing the job. Colour me impressed.

The advantage of laying the path as gravel like the van driveway is that you will never slip on wet gravel or on moss build up, both of which you will get with the concrete/ slate / limestone steps.
