We're Building ALL OF Breath of the Wild in Minecraft - Death Mountain

Ойындар

The Breath of the Wild in Minecraft project finally approaches it's end as we finish up the Akkala region alongside Eldin. We start with Akkala Citadel and move north past Tarrey Town, finishing the tech lab and Zonai labyrinth. We then approach Eldin from the south, working our way towards Goron City and Vah Rudania, the final Divine Beast of the project.

hell yeah I can't wait!! I'm gonna visit the places like a regular BotW playthrough, from the Great plateau to Kakariko village to zora's domain etc. Btw is it planned to have NPCs and mods to recreate the gameplay from BotW? that'd be insane (and also legally risky lol)

Idea: use nether portal and go to a basalt delta to get the particles for the fog in korok forest. And it will allow for more room to fit the actual korok city in. But a month ago or something like that they took down Garry's Mod Workshop content, some of that stuff has been there for over a decade. You never know with Nintendo.

I can somewhat relate to a lot of what has been said during this video, about the weird feelings coming with nearing the end of the project... In early 2020, I finished my own Minecraft recreation project, being the entirety of Pokémon Diamond, playable thanks to Pixelmon... It certainly wasn't as big of a project than this is, especially considering that I did it entirely on my own, but it still took about 1 year and a half and close to 900 hours of work in total (with an extra 200 hours for a complete english translation and improvements later on)... And yeah, when I got to the last bits of it, with the post ligue island and stuff, it definitely felt the same... Both extremely relieving, but also bittersweet and almost daunting at time, as if it was about to leave a hole in my life... But yeah, all of this to say, congrats on this journey, and I can't wait to see how it all turns out!

All of this talk of Elden Elden Elden made me realize what your next large scale project should be: Elden Ring’s map. Your work on BotW’s map has been amazing, and the only other person who I could see even possibly having the sheer skill to pull off Elden Ring’s map is Trixyblox, maybe you two could even team up for it.

It’s crazy to think about how long this series has been going on, and how long many of us have been following it. So the fact that it’s almost over is.. Frightening. However, I’m overjoyed that this huge project is almost off your shoulders, and soon to be free for everyone to explore. Thank you for giving me and the rest of us such a great series of content to anticipate for such a long time :)

25:54 This screenshot is MENTAL, the forteress, the whole path you take to go to goron's city with the tower, Daruk who seems to point to Vah Rudania with the smoke on death mountain, amazing (Grazzyy if you see this, you'll probably blame yourself, but you left a flying platform on the left........)
