WE'RE BACK! Crossing the US Mexico Border to RV Mexico Again!

In today's travel vlog, we cross the Nogales US Mexico border during COVID-19 in our Class C RV. Despite mainstream media widely advertising a nonessential travel ban, we can officially confirm the US Mexican border is OPEN. We walk you through what the Mexico border crossing is like during the Coronavirus pandemic, how we got our Mexican tourist permit, and take you with us to the most incredible beachside camping ground in Bahia de Kino Sonora, Mexico. We hope you're excited because RV Mexico part II officially starts NOW!

Awww you two made my day!! So looking forward to every Monday and tuning into your weekly adventure. Today, I shoveled a foot of snow off the deck, our roads are closing on the mountain, and we are back on snowmobiles until May. This is the time of year I am usually in Baja, but my trip will have to wait a few months. Until then, I will live vicariously thru you. I so miss the food and the wine country and the Mexican culture and people. Safe travels. Can't wait to see next weeks video and your encounter with the illegal roadside toll setup. Safe Travels!

Yes, not Canada and not the US, you are in their country and if you want to experience it all you have to be open to everything as you two are. The more you explore the bigger the comfort level is. Take care you two and I am learning so much. Everything you do I am taking notes. Thank you. It is so nostalgic for me to watch this video. In Dec. 2019, we crossed at Mariposa and drove to Bahia de Kino. We loved it so much we stayed for a couple of weeks and got to know a lot of people at Islandia. My wife particularly loved it there. I totally hear you on finding the Banjercito exit. Fortunately, I had researched this heavily - mostly on the "On the road in Mexico" group on Facebook and was prepared for it. I can't wait to go back, but for the time being we're stuck home in Canada. I don't know what your experience was driving through Hermosillo, but we found it more potholes than road back then.

I feel like I am with you guys when you are talking when you are driving down the road......Its always interesting to hear your opinions on different things.....the music was great as well.......drone footage was epic! The only thing that would have made this video better would have been if Dennis would have swam out to the mountain island at the beach....climbed it....then put a EatSeeRV Flag at the top....and then yelled at the top of his lungs....."I'M THE KING OF THE WORLD!" @@EatSeeRV Depends on your perspective. It's still a third world country with hardly any middle class. You should always be looking over your shoulder because you will stand out in the country where ever you go. I have worked there and in Brasil. My company always advised us to not draw attention to ourselves in the work group, which is impossible as a blond haired, blue eyed gringo. I have plenty of "stories" of robberies and kidnappings and feel I didn't get to where I am today (66 and happily retired) by not controlling the risks. Enjoy with caution while you can.
