I’m so late to the show, my apologies 😅. My Son plays up in the NY/PA/OH area and they are constantly go from grass to ag pitches. My top concern on a boot/soleplate is safety, I’ve seen too many serious injuries. Love the show! Talk about the lack of availability of most of these new releases, very frustrating.

The f50s run about a 1/4 size big, just an fyi. In Nike tiempos, Adidas predator elite, mercurial, I'm a size US8. Got the f50s in an 8 and they are just too big, going to try a 7.5 in the euro color. My opinion is they feel very close to the Mizuno alpha in sizing and fit. So if you have a pair of those that fit you well, go off of that size with the f50.

@@bootcastpod You do! Everyone else is saying true to size and I'm over here feeling crazy. I feel like the X line since the speedflow has ran about a 1/4 size long anyway, so if you're coming from the recent crazyfast, maybe thats why, but I've tried too many boots to agree that these fit TTS

Also I'm calling bull on JayMikes comment about the Pros complaining about the stiffer soleplate. Strictly on the merit that almost all Nike Custom Pro soleplates have a carbon fiber shank built into the underside of the soleplate.

The new f50 are honestly designed to be appealing to the masses which is unfortunate for the hardcore speed boot lovers like myself. I personally mainly buy aggressive blades, and much prefer a stiff plate, so the f50 seems very conservative, and the puma carbons are legit exciting. Also real stiff carbon plates do feel different underfoot. Tbh it seems like u guys prefer the new f50 because they are much less speed boot esque?😅 which is fine but if u label this as an x i think it wouldnt get as much praise and would be considered a slight back step in some way

Excellent take! You are absolutely right, if this were an X it would be considered a step back compared to previous gens. Good to hear an opinion from someone who is very much a speed boot guy looking for a stiff soleplate with aggressive traction. Appreciate you watching!
