We R Memory Keepers Frame Punch Board Review and Demo

I absolutely love this punch board, it is really a great one to add to your stash. I am going to include the links to my store to purchase it as well as amazon. Amazon could be less expensive than mine, so I want to give you both options. I am not always able to mark items down that low, I don't carry the volume of some larger stores.

Oh Maymay, you did it again. I've been good about staying away from craft stuff and using ebay I name but I've been excited about this board since I first saw it several months ago. After watching your instructional video, I had several wallet size school pictures that I wanted to frame for my mom, for a special project. I used the little "elf booty" parts, to secure my picture to the back of the frame, after embellishing it. Worked out great, so, thank you for that little suggestion in your video.

Fantastic and very informative review. The left over pieces from cutting the frame, the corner ones could be used for corner photo pieces. That allow you to slip the picture into the corners when put onto things. Can also be used for decorative corner pieces for a picture or pretty much anything square too. Maybe this could be a helpful idea for those leftover corner pieces. Hope you're having a fantastic day. Also thanks for another wonderful video. Nicky

TFS! I now use it to cut my 3/4” foam tape to 1/4” widths! I save the backing from my sticky items and place my 3/4” foam on it and then use the frame punch board to cut the 1/4” width. It’s awesome! It only cuts through the tape and not the backing so I can reuse the backing for future cuts.

Hello! I enjoy your video for the frame punch board. I notice that you said you have trouble seeing the size on the board. Just got a brilliant idea. You can hi-lite each size with a hi-liter marker. For example if you mark the 3/4 size in yellow on the side, use the same to the top. If the hi-liter do no work, maybe underline easy size with a different color.

I know this is an older post, but I just got my frame punch board. I found another use for it last night. Paper buckles. Punch out a long, narrow frame but leave the center intact. Only cut away the inner tabs at opposite ends -- leave the sides complete. You end up with something that works as a ribbon slide/buckle. You can use it for ribbon or seam binding, or cut a strip of paper narrow enough to fit through the slide. Great for cards and layouts. It could also be used as a pilgrim buckle on Thanksgiving projects or Santa's belt buckle on Christmas ornaments.

Mines being held hostage as a Christmas present. *sigh*. But the second I heard about this board I wanted it. I love frames on cards but they are a pain to make. I have some rectangle dies but they always leave that bit of embossed edge from the die and I don't like that. So I'm really looking forward to have this in my punch board collection.

I have this board but one thing that just goes over my head is that , How do you make the hole to fit your picture? Say you have a 4 x 6 " picture. the hole has to be a little smaller than 4" x 6" so the picture won't fall out . Is this clear.

I am slowly acquiring a collection of these punch boards....didn't even know they existed until a few months ago (I'm a newbie). This one looks cool, but I have limited use for frames at the moment so I was looking through your videos, hoping to find one that showed other ways to use this board, but I came up empty.🤷‍♀️ I even searched your playlists, thinking maybe you had compiled them...still nothing.😕 Can you ( or anyone) point me toward a video showing other possibilities for using the frame punch?🙂

For shaker cards, making frames is much easier with nesting dies (and you even get stitched designs too). And I have corner rounders in two different sizes, so I am not interested in this gadget, but certainly the flower board you demonstrated earlier...does your store carry that one?

  • @MaymayMadeIt

+Val Krush we do not carry the flower board. I agree dies work great but for he money this board is definitely worth it because of a The sizes it can make and the ease of use. This one tool is a lot less expensive than all the multiple tools. I too have all those tools and love them but especially for those starting out this is a great investment tool. Thanks!

The Cricut would make the frame easy peasy. But I love the shape you ended up with. Reminiscent of Art Deco. I can see using an art deco font . I would kick it up a notch and use the corner rounder on the sharp corners that are left.
