Not at all whatchu mean? 04 lakers had chemistry issues, they had injuries and the god squad was old karl malone and OOOLD gary payton. Even if lakers had won in 04 i dont think they would have even gotten a B. Also pistons had almost no offense (this season 19 offensive rating was chicago for reference). Good defense ye but thats not enough when you are competing against other champs.

C is probably more fair. Khris was really good but Jrue sucked on offense, depth wasn't very good, and coaching was fucking awful. Almost lost to the injured nets. Pat, bobby and brook were NOT great all postseason. Bobby barely even played in the nets series.

May be biased as a Bucks fan, but without stellar performances from Khris Middleton (who basically won the ECF by himself after Giannis went down), and stellar (defensive) play from Jrue Holiday alongside other role players, the Bucks don’t win. I’m personally putting the Bucks in B tier alongside the bubble Lakers.
