What a blast from the past, I remember having a binder of all these up until 2nd gen cards. The only card I was missing was in fact that holo Electrode. I wish they were in good enough condition for PSA 10, I’d be lucky if they were a 3 💀

I remember back in 2009 moving to a new house and I was going through all my old stuff to see what to keep or what I’m throwing away and I kid you not….. not knowing as a kid how worthy Pokémon cards would be.. I threw away roughly around 300 cards with a lot of holos and legendary cards. The regret hits me hard.

while i was watching this a kid at my golf club said : "it's not 2018 bro" and i still cant stop laughing but my mate said: Throughout quarantine people were challenged of getting fit, maybe you didn't get the form."

Seeing everyone gathered around the table and getting so pumped for these awesome cards reminds me so much of when we were 10 or 12 year old kids, and doing the same thing on the playground with all our friends. The fact that we can all still have this exact same excitement and passion for these cards 20 years later blows my mind in the most poetic and beautiful way!

Wait. You mean Scott knows how to open packs? Where is the guru technique of ziploc bags or cards in top loaders with no sleeves? Lmao. I love you Scott ;) thanks for being the best middleman in the industry! Glad to see this collaboration with Leonhart. You both rock

Leonhart's a really good host and spreads great energy. I can see that most of the guests there are a little on the introvert side, but Leon makes everyone comfortable and have a fun time opening pokemon cards :)

I remember the first cards I got. The starter decks and structure decks with Gyarados, Ninetales, and the Machamp. Watching you open the pack and get the Ninetales oddlly brought back that memory opening the cards in the backseat of my moms car. I can almost smell those cards again.

So my kids grew up and moved out years ago, I found a case full of these Pokémon cards, all in sleeves, cleaning out the rooms. Looks like a complete set with that same charizard card included.

I love these videos but they also make me want to cry, because I had so many of these rare cards when I was a kid and now they are gone. But these videos bring back my childhood so thank you
