The first elephant trainer in England was Sam Lockhart, a member of the famous Lockhart circus family. For much of his life he was based in Leamington, and when he acquired three elephants from Ceylon he kept them with him in the town as well as touring them around the country.

We have had Readly for years, just what we need. You can rush through the adverts as most of thr magazine is adverts. Love it.

Hi Lisa and Mark, We have been in that area ourselves in the past, only called at a retail park outside royal Leamington Spa, the place itself doesn't look that great, Stratford looks much nicer. We went to Wetherspoons in bingley, yorkshire recently - had fish and chips. My fish came broken in 4 pieces and was told if it was a problem when I said it didn’t look very good!

Hi Mark & Lisa It’s the lack of staff a lot of time isn’t it, last minute off sick & attitude of staff. I’d have walked out! My theory is, it’s dirty what’s it like behind scenes😮 Great to see the Caravan & camping show, it’s a bit far from us but will make a point another time to go there for a weekend & you had fabulous weather. I live in Leamington and you were spot on with your review, although I wouldn't go to the bottom end of the town unless I was desperate. Spoons has been like that for almost 30yrs so I doubt it will change anytime soon. Pitty you didn't see the real regency building where TV programmes have been filmed from. The bear symbols in Warwick is due to the Warwickshire Crest. It was the last place in England that had black bears.

Hi folks. The park with the old tree looked lovely. Shame about weatherspoons. The staff don't take pride in their workplace. Mark, I got quite nervous when you went to the edge of the water with it being so slippy. Chico looked so cute wgen he got excited about his new toy. Great vlog x

Chico is so cute not liking the rain bless him and Lemmington spa is not nice we when to the pub is not nice at all I think the same plates were they when we went 2 weeks ago lol and the toilets are really bad . My dad use to say if the toilets are clean the food would be good.

Legend has it that Samual Lockhart (1851-1933) a famous elephant trainer, bought his Heighler's Equestrian Circus to Leamington Spa after working in Sri Lanka on tea plantations.

You will have to come to Shropshire! (AONB) Ironbridge, Shrewsbury, cobbled streets, lovely restaurants. Telford is also worth a look. ☺️definitely go to cardingmill valley- wild horses, and hills for miles. ☺️

Go to Tewkesbury Weatherspoons its lovely. Ask if you can go upstairs in the hotel to see the medieval part. Leamington Spa does not have the benefit of Shakespeare having lived there, thats why it isnt so well to do.

Hi there, sorry you had a bad time in Leamington spa. I live just down the road in Coventry I visit Leamington quite regularly. You are right is not the place it used to be, or should be the council like many other councils. Have not got their act together and letting the place fall apart with the letter people sleeping openly on the streets it has really gone down.. and as far as that Wetherspoons establishment is concerned, I certainly would not go in there very rough clientele you should’ve come to Coventry I could’ve shown you a real nice time if you’re ever in Coventry just let me know I would be more than happy to spend a few hours and show you a nice place. Anyway thanks for your videos only just got into them over the last few weeks. I am really enjoying them. All the best take care 👍😊👍

Be careful when buying toys for dogs in charity shops there’s a big difference between children’s toys and dog toys proper dog toys always have eyes sewn in but children’s toys have plastic or glass eyes held in by wire etc

Hi Lisa, just watched your last vlog Leamington Spa and agree what a dive like you somewhere not to be visited again. When are you in Melton or have you already been???? Guys, I was born and bred in Stratford upon Avon and it’s not as great as what you see on the surface. I left and moved to the Lake District nine years ago because it had got so overdeveloped and overpopulated and there’s a major drug problem there. Leamington has never really been that great and it’s gone the way of many of the larger towns in this country. Warwick, on the other hand is a lovely little town.
