    ‘Fury will wear down an older Usyk’ ‘Fury is just too big’ Embarrassing words from Paulie and Chris. Fury is a year and a half younger with much more wear and tear, been knocked down multiple times, ballooned up in weight and back multiple times, suffered from addictions and binges and long layoffs, whereas Usyk is a pure dedicated athlete. Did you say Valuev was just too big for David Haye? I’m backing Usyk because I genuinely believe he beats Fury.

    their ages really aren’t a factor yet, i actually believe they’re still in their primes. perhaps towards the end of their prime but still within. we have to remember not only is this a new era and age isn’t what it used to be, but these are also heavyweights. they mature later and they enter their primes older than lower weight classes.

    Interesting fight - Fury has not fought anyone on the skill level or as elusive as Usyk; Usyk hasn’t fought anyone as big as Fury, but he has fought people close in size with more power. If Usyk can have Fury mostly chasing and doesnt confront head on, he wins

  • @mickybender7726

    Usyk has not fought anyone that could resemble the class of Fury. Joshua is no sample: big target with poor movement and no natural boxing instincts, reflexes, and no defensive boxing at all. That was a easy puzzle to solve for Usyk: take away Joshuas lead hand (Furys lead hand fighting is in a whole different dimension than Joshuas-at least at the time he fought Usyk), make him turn and lure him into biting on cadence patterns that get rapidly broken by half and quarter beats. Good luck doing that vs Fury. He can fight in all directions: side to side, backwards you name it and is a master of fainting and manipulating rhythm. Only chance Usyk has, is to put on such a brutal pace for 12 rds. with an overwhelming output in hopes Fury will eventually wield in later rds. Problem with that: Fury has the punch variability to counter any possible flury of punches coming from Usyk, make him think twice to open up on him, plus he has a good gas tank and does not seem to tire easily. Usyk is a legend and a great champion in its own rights, but Fury is THE ONE, the unicorn, and one of the greatest sports stories Britain has ever written.

  • @Vipersrule

    @Vipersrule

    12 күн бұрын

    @@mickybender7726 And Tyson has not fought anyone that resembles the class of Usyk. Tyson has admitted he struggles with southpaws and smaller fighters. His movement looks good against big slow heavyweights, but he's never moved as much in a fight as he's about to. His legs have been carrying around 300lbs for years now, and this will be the ultimate test to see just how well he can move them. What I find interesting about these takes is that it seems you assume Fury is going to be left alone to execute all these things in a vacuum. 3 or 4 rounds of mental pressure from Usyk, plus an increasing pace and output, plus Usyk's ring IQ is going to chip away at Fury's ability to execute these things consistently. I think Fury controls things for the first few rounds, then Usyk ups the pace and starts with his own variability chipping away at Tyson's mental and physical stamina. Then Tyson will pivot to grabbing, holding, and fighting a bit dirty to try and slow Usyk down and control him. Then I think Usyk starts getting inside Tyson's reach and avoiding the clinch. Tyson fades in the later rounds and we get a close decision one way or the other. tl;dr Tyson early, Usyk late - the middle rounds will decide who wins. Rounds 1-3 Tyson will be very different from rounds 9-12. Round 1 Usyk = Round 12 Usyk.

Fury is a big target! AJ offense is more coordinated than Fury and Usyk stayed in front of AJ and made him miss and pay! Guess who was been down 7 times? Fury! In terms of skills, technique, ability to slip shots, counter, footwork, foot placement, speed, timing, head movement, and all that goes with a skilled boxer, Usyk is FAR more skilled than Fury. Lesser skilled fighters can win fights though, unfortunately. Also with the body shots, Fury is awful with them. Watch the body shots against Whyte, throwing shots squared up with the opposite hand in his pocket, up right. Fury gets away with simply being longer than a lot of people and jabbing a lot, he won’t have that luxury with Usyk.

    Fury only has to use his attributes and the basics in the boxing text book to beat usyk. He is the bigger man, long reach, good foot movement, good head movement, good at feinting, he can fight long using thet advantage. Usyk is the one that has the hard work to do. He is the smaller man, and he isnt no Joe frazier where can bob and weave coming forward to get inside like he had to against Ali hoping to land his trafemark left hooks.. Usyk has good lateral movement but only effective if his opponents trade in his midrange zone which requires great boxing iq and speed and power. None of the heavyweights usyk has foight have been great boxers and they all fought in his midrange hoping to catch him with heavy shots..other than joshua, whos ego decided to prove to the world he could box and gave up all his attributes and fought like a small fighter crouching down to usyks height stood in his midrange bouncing around like skippy the bloody kangaroo putting out pitta patter paw jabs ffs.. Its only my ipinion but i wouldnt be surprised if fury makes this look easy and stops usyk in the later rounds! Usyk is going to be the one that has to work harder than he has ever worked but also has to take the full weight of fury, giving away nearly 50Ib against a fighter that can actually box and fight, with height reach weight and speed is not going to be a walk in the park.. Has anybody ever seen usyk fight any other way than ge does? People dontvthink fury has studied every fight of usyks? i dont understand how people believe he wins easily when he couldnt stand his ground against a giant slow slug like chisora, who lets face it, had usyk running backwards with his guardup alot of the time..he wasnt throwing anything when he was being attacked, he just ran and reset! Fury is 10x more knowledgful and skillful heavier taller quicker than chisora! Yeh styles make fights but what style is fury going to use, after all he can switch it up at anygiven time, fury is not predictable, usyk is, he only fights one way, and his advantage has always been his southpaw stance, but that southpaw stance can also be his downfall against someone with the reach advantage, usyk had to be able to judge furys reach from the the long straight right hand down the middle every single tiime, over long looping overhand right behind the ear while trying to get closer enough to land even a jab, people will be surprised how small usyk will look in that ring ..fury doesnt fight crouched!

    What’s Fury’s best weight for this fight? I say 255. At some point Fury is going to have to box Usyk on Usyk’s terms-so he can’t just solely rely on weight bullying him. And body shots are the key for both guys.

  • @___Saint

    Its interesting with these predictions against Usyk. Had to got to the Amateurs ( Usyk has had 350 amateur fights) and losing a fight Beterbiev (Usyk beat him twice by the way) and a low blow punch ( Usky beatbthe brakes off dubois in every single round), we ignore he took body shots from AJ who is arguaby a harder puncher and beat the breaks off him twice! This gets ignored lol. Just seems people have to reach to find a something for why hes going to lose. Where as theres much more evidence to suggest Fury will lose. I suspect Usyk is going to have everyones foot in their mouths after this. This guy is elite level boxer and champion. Im lookign forward to the fight, i sincerely think if anyones getting stopped its Fury, but we will see. I just hope its a fair fight and the best man wins.

    If Fury comes in at 100%, he should have this victory in the bag simply because he "knows" how to use his size against his opponents very well. Usyk is a master boxer, more talented than Fury for sure, but its gonna be hard for him to come in, and if he clinches, Fury is going to put his whole weight on him like he did with Wilder.

    Fury has better feet and is bigher then anyone Usyk has fought at Heavyweight. Don't see any reason he shouldn't be able to find success with the straight right against the Southpaw. 1st and foremost, Tyson Fury could care less about the undisputed claim!!!! Fury just fought Francis Ngannou, lol!!! Fury took this fight because he was embarrassed by the Ngannou fight and AJ prolly had Ngannou signed. Fury didn't make this fight vs Usyk years ago because it's not a big money fight clearly or Fury wouldn't have passed it up so long and especially because he fought Ngannou. This fight is in the middle east instead of the US and the UK cause casual fans don't care. This fight won't do over 300k ppv buys I'm guessing. Fury vs Ngannou didn't even do 100k PPV buys but the promoters had to pay Fury 30 million. Everyone is trying to promote the undisputed claim to sell the fight. Usyk is my number 1 pound for pound boxer by far cause he dominated Cruiserweight and gained 20 pounds to fight heavyweight vs guys 20 pounds bigger than the 20 he gained. Usyk is super disrespected by the boxing world. Now at the same time, nobody thinks Fury is gonna dismantle Usyk and destroy him. Fury is 6 inches taller and 30 pounds bigger. Usyk has no power, he's fast for a heavyweight but he's not Roy Jones or Muhammad Ali with his speed , footwork, head movement, no does he have elite defense. Considering that, how is he supposed to beat Fury who is a 1 of a kind boxer. Fury literally boxes and jabs and fights from distance. He got 1 punch power. Fury feints, counterpunches well and fights with great boxing IQ. He holds and leans on guys and roughs them up. The only heavyweights I've ever seen who actually box from distance with alotta movement is Muhammad Ali, Larry Holmes, Roy Jones 1 fight and Tyson Fury. The difference between them all is Fury is 6 ft 9 260. If Usyk had power, I could understand him having a good chance to win but he don't. Fury should be able to do whatever he wants with Usyk. Fury can box from distance all nite or he can walk Usyk down and punish him to the body. The size and height difference is like Lomachenko with not much power at 5 ft 7 135 going against Bivol who is 6 ft 2 175. Really think of the size difference, Usyk's lack of power, and most importantly Furys ability to box and jab from distance with power. This is a total mismatch I think. I'll be rooting for Usyk though. He's david going against Goliath
