That is where air bags are A great help. With it being laid over so far you actually have to lift the whole capacity over truck before you gain any leverage. With bags you might have been able to gain that advantage.

Happy Birthday, Mr. Wilbert. Great recovery with a super heavy tank headed downhill. If you decide to buy a rotator, I would recommend a visit with Josh and his Dad at Pepe's Towing in Los Angeles. I think they would give you a lot of excellent advice on types, multi winches, rigging and catching. A rotator you cannot catch with is not good. As expensive as they are you want to maximize your expense as much as possible.
