There's over 1000 One Piece characters and screentime/paneltime can't be shared equally between them all. So the more important characters get more stuff to do, while the less important characters get less to do. That's why any straw hat that isn't Luffy, Zoro, Sanji or Jinbe get nothing to do.

There's also the fact that *Lilith* was the original First Woman in some versions of the tale, with her having been cast out and later replaced with the more commonly-known Eve. EDIT: Which got mentioned in the vid. nice to know I wasn't the only one who thought of that.

Nobody mentioning the link with Atlas and her namesake. The titan Atlas was condemned to 'hold aloft the celestial spheres' after the war with the olympians. Atlas died lifting one of the celestial spheres into the sky. Oda knows what he is doing.

By the logic of One Piece Clover didn't die when he got shot. According to Professor Hirluk, one dies when he's forgotten after his death and as long Vegapunk, Robin, and Dragon (plus everyone in O'Hara that survived) remembers Clover and forever respects he's work and the way he lived. So, by that logic, he's not dead.

The D. Clan is really fleshing out to be a collection of talented individuals. Clover family are archeologists. Law are Doctors. Nefatari are Royalty. I see a nation being built piece by piece. D is the name of the ancient Kingdom.

Clover being Irish makes sense because Ireland is the Country of Saints and Scholars. I spoke to my cousin who’s fluent in Gaelige and he said that some regions pronounce it Clee-uv(that’s how I read it myself) but in Ulster they’d pronounce it “Clee-ooo”. I’ll ask my Grandmother next weekend as she’s a native speaker. She’s from Ulster.

That is what I believe as well. He was crying for the loss of his life work and all the knowledge they gathered. The loss of the life of all his friends around him. The will if D doesn't make one immune to sadness, as we have seen luffy cry at the loss and near loss of those he cares for, it is his own death he smiles at. To think Luffy would be laughing as his crew dies around him along with the sunny, is in fact, laughable.

I'm thinking time traveling Joy Boy. My quick theory: Toki sent Joy Boy into the future on Laughtale. She was trying to get to Wano because she wanted to prepare for his arrival, likely by getting Pluton ready for him. Roger was too early because he was literally too early for Joy Boy to come out of the time jump that Toki sent him on. She sent Emmet on a similar jump, which is why he suddenly appeared on top of the Red Line.

This doesn't quite work if Joyboy had Luffy's devil fruit. Joyboy would need to be 100% dead for Luffy to gain access to the fruit. However, I would entertain the notion that A) Toki sent the fruit itself into the future, hence how it eluded the WG for so long, and also how Shanks knew to steal it, since Roger would have told him when it would appear. And B) whatever is on Laugh Tale, is definitely arriving from the past.

@@FabbrizioPlays I think we just don't know enough about devil fruits still, because if someone is removed from time and sent forward to a new time the fruit could possibly still appear again without a true death granted i still don't know if i like the idea of joyboy or luffy being sent forward or backwards because it would feel like luffy's part in the story wasn't to do with freedom will but destiny which contradicts a lot of one pieces core message being freedom and while they might inherent wills aren't tied to it

I wonder if Oda will take a "Dragon Ball Time Travel" Approach, as in, you *can* travel back in time, but create a new timeline in the process. So one branch plays out "normally" while the "canon" one proceeds from the "past", with new options to go from.

The Irish connection to Clover also makes sense from the historical aspect of the Dark Ages. It's believed by many historians that Irish clergy, monks etc preserved the written word and knowledge, and we're instrumental in bringing the British out of the Dark Ages.

I think Vegapunk Stella is still alive, though unconcious, Kizaru switched sides after all, burning Vegapunks fatal wound recived by Saturn. He said, he was going to die, if moved, but burning a wound is one of the oldest treatments, to prevent infection and stop the bloodloss. And 2nd I think a simple and possible idea for Kuma to get his memories back is for the strawhats to fight Blackbeard, as he's holding Pudding hostage, who should easily be able to take Kumas memories from Bonney and return them.

On the original image of Nika having a spear: do you think Emeth may be made of that same metal and is why they injured Mercury?

We aren't done with the brain yet. York didn't know Stella could lie about all of his research and the transmission because "Stella" likely wasn't controlled by "Stella" while the body did the work. The Brain took over the satellite to do its work, like I think it did with Shaka calling Dragon. York hasn't uploaded to Punk Records in a while, does her searching for the other satellites mean the Brain could hack her?

Did nobody notice that Onigashima was at Punk Hazard 26 years ago? Kaido probably took it with him when he escaped with Alber (King).

I think the biggest issue with time traveling Luffy is the fact that the crew is different. Luffy would never leave his current crew and they would never leave him

I think the time travel is way off the mark but I believe it's possible joyboy had observation Haki so strong that he could see centuries into the future and that's why he laid out his plan and knew when he would "come back" which was the positive fated future he wanted

Joy Boy, Roger and Luffy are on the same level, that is why Rayleigh sees Roger in Luffy and Emet sees Joy Boy in Luffy

The thumbnail clickbait is getting to be a bit much, especially when the videos are of such high quality.

Time travel Luffy sounds like a thing where Black Beard swallows Luffy into a Black Hole as some ultimate attack only for Luffy to come out from another part of the area having done everything in the past and coming back to finish Blackbeard.

Time traveling Luffy would extend the story so much. No way Oda could condense the entire timeline of all those past events and characters into a single arc.

A few theories for fun: 1) "The worst generation" could be in regards to this time loop playing out. Each time a world ending event happens, Imu jumps back and tries again. This "generation" has been the most chaotic and unpredictable in terms of players on the field. Luffy getting the Nika fruit instead of someone else (Bonney in another timeline.) Which begs the question. Shanks was already strong when Luffy was a kid, likely had observation haki, but maybe something prevented him from seeing Luffy eating it. While initially upset, he realizes he must have been a fate thing, just like him with Roger. 2) Zoro's lack of direction is because he's a human compass that only works at a certain place or during a certain event. Everywhere else, he's like an animal that uses the magnetic poles to navigate and gets thrown off when it goes wonky the same reason they need the special compasses to navigate.

Mugiwara travel to the past to "laugh tale" (the only place that seems geographically unreachable). Emeth being the creation of Franky and his strong right style of attack, Brook writing Bink's Sake (explaining why the chorus is literally his laugh), Usopp writing the famous great adventure book (forgot the name), and more...

I figured Atlas punching Lilith was to make it seem like she died. York was saying only Atlas was left means she doesn't know Lilith is still alive.

I think Emeth mistaking Luffy for Joy boy is an indication of how much we don't know about devil fruits. It feels like devil fruits bestow more than just powers, but seem to be a genetic black box that carries a signature down the line across time and space.

I bet rocks is the reason why they don't purge the d name as heavily anymore.

Wow the observation that people with the will of D die smiling because they die with no regrets also puts into perspective why Gojo was smiling during his final moments as well.

Theory for the next chapter- starts out with Saint Ethan about to attack Bonny and Kuma. Bonny, too scared to move, cry’s out “SAVE ME, DADDY”. Her devil fruit activates but not for her. Kuma is transformed back to its prime self (before becoming a cyborg). Realizing the situation, he latches on to Saint Ethan and gives Bonny a real goodbye as a person before sacrificing himself to eliminate one of the Elder Stars.

Man, I was so excited with the thumbnail, and he started talking about a cloverman 😭😭😭

I love how everyone gets pissed when someone is revealed to be a D. But they all follow the same check boarded lifestyle that Sengoku mentioned, and here is the thing. The Secret part of the name, is meant to be... you know.... SECRET???

My prediction for the upcoming chapter: - The chapter involves more of everyone's rxn to Roger's name, which also includes more cameos, as well as Buggy himself. - Kuma tries to take action against Saturn, whether or not he will be saved. - The SH reunite on the Sunny. - VP reveals the last part of his message, including the name of the Ancient Kingdom. - No break next week.

Liam, take notice of this contrived genius theory I've had. Remember when Coby said "Luffy is the only person who can save Zoro" against Captain Morgan and Helmeppo, well, I believe at the end of One Piece, whether Coby is physically present or is instead aware of what's going on, will say "Zoro is the only person who can save Luffy". I think this would be a beautiful build up to the end.

I like the idea that Vegapunk decided to make Atlas look like Ginny after seeing Kuma's memories. I imagine it made him furious and he needed a way to deal with that anger and that inspired Atlas' creation. This makes me want to see Atlas punch Saturn that much more.

When Atlas punched Lilith, I had thought that maybe Lilith had been hacked by York or something, but only for a split second

I think the crew splits up again; Zoro, Franky and Lilith confirmed to be together on one ship to Wano. Ussop and Robin to Elbaf forsure. The rest might go where will best benefit their story arc. Maybe some to visit Dragon and Sabo. Some might infiltrate Beehive island to save Garp (Luffy, Jinbei and Bonney?). Another group go to the man marked by flames?? I’m saying this cuz everyone need another power up/training arc. This to figure out a weakness to the Gorosei. And the story needs time to develop the beginning of the strawhat grand fleet and the future enemies (other pirates, Imu & God Knights, and more Blackbeard lore). A reunion like Team 7 in Naruto please.

The craziest plot twist would be, that Rocks D. Xebec was actually from God Valley and he came back to protect it, but realized he was gonna lose so he locked his only son in a chest to protect him from the war. That son being... Shanks D. Xebec!

I like the one where Bonnie's power, Luffy's power and Kuma's power sends Luffy to the past to meet Joy Boy.

If time travel Luffy does become a thing, and he's both joyboy and Roger, then the line from Roger about "I wish I could have lived at the same time as you" would be incredible foreshadowing.

Let's also consider the fact that professor Clover was from Ohara. O'Hara is a distinguished Irish surname, with strong connections to Celtic mythology.

I think that spear will be under Loki's ownership as Odin's weapon was a spear that never missed its target

Let me just lay out the theory that I've had since the middle of Egghead. Nika was a cloud homie like Zeus. Thus G5. White, fluffy, floating, etc.

I think it's entirely possible that the Gorosei are Nika's crew mates, and their captain was the first soru soru no mi user, who created all of them. I think Luffy is the biggest problem with the time-travel theory. Going back, remembering everything he needs to make happen, making it happen, then also remembering everything he needs to write on the ponyglyphs. Just doesn't sound like the sorta job our hero is built for. Also, it would, in my humble? opinion, suck all of the eggs for the story to go that way.

Maybe someone from the past bought a very injured joyboy in the present but when they arrived here Joyboy became a baby and Dragon happens to be there and adopt said baby that is now Luffy. Cus i still have doubts how Dragon's ugly ahh created that magnificent boy.

Time traveling Luffy is cannon. The whole straw hat crew time travels everyday. They travel from second to second, minute to minute, in a constant state of forward. For there is no looking back for our Rubber Sun God man, only ahead.

Isn't it more plausible that Joyboy was somehow stripped of his memories, turned into an infant, separated from his DF and sent him to the future? It almost lines up with all the pieces we already have with very little effort and there would only be a handful of plot points that we'd have to fix, instead of breaking the world with backwards time travel.

Luffy being a clone of Joy Boy makes more sense than time travel and I think actually might fit into the story given everything we know.

They were actually eliminated in the reverse order we met them. We saw Shaka second but his name introduction was after York. Shaka died> York revealed traitor> Pythagoras died> edison supposedly dead> atlas dies> Lilith alive
