    Flav is like a seasoned underground chicken guru from a guy Richie film who’s put his all into the chicken game but been burnt too many times. Eventually a distant family member (probably played by Jason Statham) gets into bed with the mob and reaches out to Flav, reluctantly forcing him out of retirement and back into the chicken game, taking Jase under his wing to pay off the debts. Flav goes on a spiritual journey and rediscovers his love for the game before being stabbed in the back and pecked to death by his own Hermaphrodite chickens who he has loved as his own sons/daughters (not sure?). Jase then goes on a chicken based rampage taking down the mob, seeking vengeance for Flavs death. The twist comes upon realising Flav and Jason Statham are one entity and the trauma behind Flavs mentor being murdered what was took him out the game in the first place, the film ends when Jase is contacted by Flav to be taught the ropes of the game, thus continuing the never ending cycle.

    United fan and I’m split almost 50/50 on ETH. He’s not helped himself with some of the baffling decisions he’s made this season. I’m not seeing anything to suggest a style of play, any tactical identity that says to me “THATS how Ten Hag plays”. But the club is genuinely an absolute basket case from top to bottom and those that don’t follow the general pulse of the club don’t get that. We saw a distinct style in and out of possession at Ajax across two different teams. I think he deserves a fuller judgement when it’s obvious the manager is one of the only barriers/main barrier to progression.

    Pretty simple with 7 Hag, give him a squad of class players and he will get them balling. Give him lesser players and he's unable to get the best out of them like a Klopp or Emery. Definitely huge question marks over his ability to coach improvement in the lesser players.

    Aston Villa have a squad with a far higher technical floor than United do and they’ve recruited extremely well with Emery seemingly getting most, if not all of the types of players he wanted. As for Liverpool, their squad post Gini Wijnaldum/Firmino is obviously worse. Their recruitment hasn’t been nearly as good and they’ve not replaced key positions so their drop off isn’t surprising. Of the 16 transfers we’ve made, 8 have been loans or frees, 7 of which have been first team regulars for United. Pep and Klopp have signed 89 players between them and only Matip, Adrián and Ortega have played anything close to regularly. That sums up the chasm in club strategy. Can’t blame INEOS if they decide to move on but it’s so basic to suggest everything is the fault of the manager.

    I'm a Liverpool fan and obviously love seeing Utd struggle but you need rid. The point I realised he wouldn't do well was against West Ham at the end of last season. He just doesn't know what he's trying to do. I honestly think you need a factory reset and realise the level you're currently at. Bring in a young up and coming manager (McKenna or Potter I think), clear out all the bad apples no matter how talented eg. Bruno and Rashford, and fans not be snobby about bringing in less star-studded names. Before Liverpool signed Mane the talk was he was going to Utd and the fans turned their noses up saying we don't buy from Southampton. I know that's a bit of a ramble and you don't care what I think but you have my 2 penneth anyway

    Ten Hag gave Sancho 4 whole months away from the club to work on his mental and physical health. During that period the manager backed him, defended him and then ultimately integrated him back into the squad to the point where he was starting an FA Cup Final against his boyhood club. Jadon is the issue. I'm sure Ten Hag isn't blameless but Jadon hasn't been performing for the club before or with Ten Hag in charge.

  • @jamesmccaul2945
    @jamesmccaul294525 күн бұрын

    No, Man Utd shouldn't invest in Sancho. He was treated nicely by Ten Hag and allowed to have a mental health break for months while working with specially appointed coaches in Holland only to throw all that back in his face when he was left out of the squad as a warning for lack of effort in training. It would be poison for the culture at the club if players continue to get away with this behavior (as poor player culture is already one of the root problems for United's woes). Sell him while he has a bit of value and before he goes into another slump because he isn't getting his own way. PS - As a united fan, I'm Ten Hag in. This season has been a mess but last season was very positive and we have seen some magnificent performances (beating Barca over 2 legs, beating City at home and really good performnace without Ronaldo against Conte spurs spring to mind). Also he seems honest and hardworking, a bit stubborn but I'm confident he is working as hard as possible to do the best for the team and the club (whether or not he has the genius to turn this mess around is another question but I'm perfectly happy to give him another chance, not that my opinion counts for anything lol)

    It's kinda weird how people talk as if Sancho needed more room in Manchester United while he got more room and time than anyone deserves, he got given everything anyone would need and more yet he couldn't produce anything on the field that would represent it. Sure a different manager and playstyle and importance might matter but he was given everything else in United to succeed and the discipline happened only after he had been given everything and he was still acting up.

    Team Coach - Newcastle United edition: Geordie boys & Ritchie make up the back line of the coach. Ritchie in the corner spends the whole journey stood up as to make sure he's seen and heard at all times. Dan Burn in the middle seat because he's literally too massive to fit anywhere else. Jokes flying left, right and centre. Botman & Schar pair up just in front. The two European centre backs act as bouncers for the back row in case anything gets out of hand. Bruno & Joelinton across from them. Bruno as the adopted Geordie gets as close to the action as possible next to his Brazilian mate. Willock & Isak you cannot separate. They spend the whole journey sharing & listening to their new favourite hip-hop songs. They sit a little further forward but close enough for Isak to chime in with a joke or two in his London accent if needed. Pope & Murphy are on the other side. Jacob Murphy just listens in, smiling & giggling and doesn't say a word. Pope fancies himself as a bit of a DJ and tries to get some tunes going but gets shut down by Isak & Willock that say "this one ain't it" to every song he puts on. Jason Tindall walks to the back every 5 mins to be involved and be the centre of attention. Trippier sits towards the front, as to not be interrupted when messaging women that are not his wife. Livramento and Gordon sit together and have a competition to see who can eat the most Haribos in the journey. Polishing off ten packets each. Wilson sits close enough to Howe every week to ask if there's a chance he could start the game. When he's not doing so, he calls Michail Antonio and they slag off Richarlison together. Almiron just sits there and stares into space not knowing where he is. Tonali must have missed the bus again.

    The lack of NLD talk is very disappointing. Especially because of how much there would have been had it been a draw. Flav knows how big an away win in a derby is because Spurs have only got 1 since 2000. I’m guessing there isn’t any for those subscribed to the patreon/mailbag either. I don’t want to pay a subscription to something where I’d get rinsed if we lose or draw and if we win it’s nothing. It’s like a lose lose and it’d feel like I’m into some weird humiliation kink where I pay money on the chance to be humiliated with no potential upside. If you give it, you need to be able to take it. That’s like rule 1 of football.

    I think on Ten Hag and the injuries, if there was one injury per position then I would still expect to see a positive, attacking, clear style of play. If the back four was AWB, Lindelof, Maguire, Malacia, I would still expect to see what he’s trying to do… But when the injuries mean you’ve played centre back partnerships of Evans/Kambwala and Maguire/Casemiro and the most used left backs are Lindelof and Amrabat, that’s where I can understand the issue in getting style of play across. Not forgetting the fact we’ve been relying on 19 year olds as our most available and consistent players, with two strikers who have both missed multiple months due to injury. It is just a nightmare scenario for any manager.

    “Name slang” I’ve got one friend (Walter) where a lot of our communication has to do with the idea of replacing words or phrases with the names of people and then asking “what you talking about them for? They’re not even here!” As a joke etc however they’re not all footballers. Some examples are: Do you know what I mean? (Janine), whenever using the word “closer” (Miroslav Klose), the words “as soon as” (Graeme Souness), whenever saying “both of them” (Ian Botham), saying “I’m here” (Amir Kahn), “I’m assuming” (Amy Schumer), going for a meal (Emile Hesky), “that was well hard” (Steven Gerrard), when using the phrase “to hear” (Imran Tahir), “It doesn’t matter” (Juan Mata), “Trees” (Theresa May), to check something or to pay by cheque (Petr Čech) etc amongst others, Only Forwards 🐌

    I’m a United fan, torn on ten Hag despite everything. I think the reason most are keen to stick with him is because we’ve gone through ten years of hire and fire and it hasn’t seen us progress at all. With so many moving parts we need some consistency, so it’d make sense not to get rid. The problem is they either need to sack him or extend his contract as he only has a year left. So what I’d like to see is the structure to be in place first, to reset things, set the vision, and then interview a shortlist of managers *including ten Hag* to understand each candidate’s plan and hire whoever they think can best deliver success. Otherwise we’re just throwing another body into the talent furnace that is Manchester United.

    I’m an Arsenal fan but am supporting Spurs til the end of the season so they have something to play for when they play vs Man City. You could say I’m a Spurs fan on loan! After 1 match, I’ve already lost any hope in the team. There’s no chance they draw at home vs Man City. I’m guessing Spurs fans are used to these kind of feelings so does Flav have any advice? Anyway, as a true fan on loan, we must press on. Coys.

    FOOTBALL RHYMING SLANG. In my youth in the late 90s when I lived on a healthy diet of Raving, MDMA and disappointing visits to white heart lane, I met a scouser at a drum n bass night in Bristol who asked me "have you got any Garys?" - Gary Abletts (tablets)

Therefore i feel as tho this comment section much like the dressing room has no limit regarding criticism and judgment, that being said i have to say this was one of the worst JAFFN pods i’ve ever seen….like i’ve said many times before Flav and James are the wonder boys of football youtube. But this episode was a sinking ship, especially after a week off JAFFN i expected more of an uplifting enthusiastic episode. but i just got 35 mins of Jadon Sancho chat. Lads we all have to do better, the bits need to be revived the comments need to be revived JAFFN is on a bad spell of form right now BUT i know we will bounce back. As a United fan, Sancho needs to go and stay gone, regardless of what happens with ETH. He had issues at City, Dortmund, the England camp, and couldn't cut it at United over the course of 2 years and even after ETH gave him 3 months of paid vacation to work on his mental issues last season. He's a spoiled brat who happens to be a talented footballer (and still hasn't even pulled up trees in this loan). United doesn't need a player like him; we need talented footballers that also have the proper mentality to play for the club. He isn't that. FWIW, I want ETH to have at least 6 months under the new structure. Give him the summer transfer window and get him some actual player (Bruno can't do it all alone lol). Also, it's not like ETH became a bad manager overnight, and he's still talked about at other big European clubs. United, the club, is fucking broken and I don't think taking the easy fix of sacking ETH will actually produce anything different than what's been produced over the past decade (i.e. nothing significant).

I had a mate in university who loved smoking the devil's lettuce and was a renowned virgin (Never locked lips with a lady until he was 22), we nicknamed him Virginio Wijnaldum. Additionally, calling an attractive member of the opposite sex Francesco after the slang word Totty, also proves amusing.
