WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT ENZO FERNANDEZ AT CHELSEA... In this video, I discuss the comments from Enzo Fernandez about playing through his injury this season. Some Chelsea fans and football pundits have written off Enzo and say he cannot compete in the Premier League... I want to make this video to let you know my thoughts on why this is not the case. Enzo will be back and will be HUGE for Chelsea FC next season!

    Enzo is quality. Connor is quality. Moises is quality. 3 quality options for every strategy and situation. Its foolish to think Connor + Caicedo can overcome every situation. Sometime it'll be Enzo + Connor, or Enzo + Caicedo, or even all 3. Depends on the day, the opponent and the strategy. We are lucky to have all 3. As well as Santos, Lavia and Casadei. We don't have any duds in midfield and we should be grateful for that.

    Enzo hasn’t even been bad this season statistically. His stats and majority of his performances have been really consistent. It was only the last 4-5 games before his surgery where you could tell he was in pain. Next season he will show his doubters, because make no mistake he is one of the best creative midfielders in the world.

    Theee is no mystery. With Enzo gone and Cuccurela and Gallagher covering his back Caicedo can now play freer. He is not a “cover the CBS player that’s a waste. Also Mudryk and Madueke have improved their defensive work rate and Palmer is playing with Caicedo instead of around him as he has in the past. Also Palmer takes less silly shots. Plug In box in take Cuccurela or Gallagher out you wreck all that. Enzo is a good player a very good player but his profile is not for a possession team. He is also not a double pivot player. Maybe Ina 3 man midfield. But his defensive work rate and tactical acumen must improve. The real question is whom do you want running your team…Enzo or Caicedo? Enzo “has” to be the man. Caicedo is willing to sacrifice so when both are on you loose Caicedo’s influence on the game and he becomes a sitter to cover for Enzo.

    Enzo Fernandez has suffered a groin injury, but Pochettino forced him to play with injections, which is highly questionable. He has Andre Santos and Cassadei available, so why force Enzo to play through injury? This is a major reason why I believe Pochettino should be sacked. Enzo is technically gifted, unlike Gallagher. Even if Cucureilla were to invert with Coicedo and Enzo, the formation would work with a fully fit Enzo. Enzo's ability to scan the field and make precise passes makes him unique. In contrast, Gallagher primarily relies on running and tackling, with simplistic passes lacking football IQ or creativity. Gallagher is a raw player with no standout attributes. Pochettino should have given more playing time to Cassadei and Santos when Enzo was injured. I dislike this manager because, first, he played Ben Chilwell out of position on the left wing and Levi Cowell at left back, and sometimes even used Disasi at right back when Gusto was available. Chilwell on the left wing particularly frustrated me. Pochettino's inability to get the best out of Maatsen, Cassadei, and Santos reflects poorly on his managerial skills. He should be sacked

    @@easy8237do you not bother watching football games or something? liverpool, spurs, Preston, brighton, fulham, two Villa games, Middlesbrough, palace, leeds, city, newcastle and Blackburn were games he played objectively well in this season and he spent most of the year playing with injections. With your logic, we should sell the entire team barring one or two players because absolutely no one other than palmer and a couple others have been good outside of the odd game.

    Until Enzo comes into this new system, I don't think we have a way to truly prove chelsea are better without him. Cucurella switching into midfield on the offense allows for Connor to go forward. Maybe Enzo can also excel at this. We don't know because it wasn't even attempted. Let alone the injuries he was playing with

    Enzo's injury has potentially kept his teammates from working their hardest because he has been unable to match their effort. Next season, assuming that he's fit and healthy, he should be able to match his teammates' energy and if we go with a midfield 3 of Lavia, Caicedo and Enzo we could have one of the best midfields in the Prem.

    I see problems with Enzo. He moves the ball too slowly, bogs down our midfield leaving us unable to move forward often causing us to move the ball side to side and back to defence. Plus he causes confusion with Caicedo, they don't work well together, have too much of a similar style and profile. Just Caicedo plays the role much more efficiently.

  • @bobmylie3
    @bobmylie316 күн бұрын

    The fact CFC signed Enzo isn’t the problem but believing that Caicedo is the perfect partner is where I feel the problem is. Look at most successful teams, they have a more marauding DM in the squad. The likes of Rice, Partey(ARS) and Rodri,Stones(MCI) *I know Stones is a CB but Pep floats him in the mid. Enzo and Caicedo are different styles of players but neither of them are a physical presence in the middle of the pitch. However the manager next season decides on a double pivot I just don’t see both of them together being a starting duo. I believe one of them will need to be on the bench. I can’t see Enzo being fluid to be able to play #10 role. If they play a flat 3, I see more of a chance seeing Enzo/Caicedo in #8 but then I think Gallagher would need to be benched. We need a proper DM who aerially can win balls and keep up in transition able to break up play. I believe that what the signing of Ugochukwu was supposed to do but he’s young and still learning (not fit too). George I love your work and value ur opinion. I agree wholeheartedly with what u said, I just had a slight spin I put on it. Much love 💙💙💙

    Enzo might came( or may not) good in certain schemes against specific oppositions, it just that he is definitely not a 100 mil player , at least not yet and this price tag raised a lot of high expectations about his game which he is still to justify. His salary is not that high, he is only 23 so...he just didn't deserve starting position based on his transfer fee alone, that's all in my opinion and i hope for his and our club sake that he will show more in the future.If not...worse transfer disasters had been known to happen.

    The only reason Caicedo does well with Gallager is because when tgey play together, Palmer is the 10. Palmer does it so well. When Enzo is in midfield,we akmost always accommodate Gallagher at 10. And palmer on the flank. Gallager is not a technician like palmer at 10. The game Enzo played with Gallagher against Liverpool in August,When Carney Chukwuemeka was a 10,Enzo was by far the best player on the pitch. Its just simple,put a technical 10,and tye double pivot will be good whether its Enzo, Gallagher,or Caicedo or lavia.

They are paid astronomically high wages; the least we can expect is for them to put some bloody effort into their performances. For me the jury is still out on Enzo! I was not thrilled by the signing, but I have been willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. There have been some glimpses of his perceived ability, but not enough to warrant keeping him to the detriment of the team. I am of the opinion that the midfield is more cohesive without him in the team. Reading what others are saying they are all very positive, but I have always been told you are only as good as your last match.
