We need to talk about those Ancile Shields. They have become so useless. You give away the enormous firepower from heavy weapon slots and get nothing in return like 80% of all times. The meta has changed but the item ANCILE has not changed with it. And with purely energy weapons in use nowadays - the Ancile needs to become an AEGIS shield. And not in form of an Ultimate edition but simply because Ancile has no use whatsoever in the game at the moment. It's not like a weak weapon that performs poorly. It's something that doesn't perform at all. And that should really be changed. Please, Pixonic: Don't make this an Ultimate Update. Make it something for us!

I actually love using these on my beacon cappers. it basically doubles their health with the amt of energy weapons in play.

Manni even needs to use the most op robot in the game to describe how useless this weapon is because if he used others, they screw immediately. only the curie can take the infinity damage to show that ancile shield didn't not protect him at all

Indeed. Imagine I would this on something else that wouldn't be able to fire at all, something that wouldn't run around fast enough. Something that wouldn't refresh 500k HP every few seconds. 🙂

Funnily enough, the guy with the Friendly title (The UE Avenger Shenlou and Curve Bullet Eiffel) wasn’t shooting you because he can’t get past your shield, he wasn’t shooting you because he found your loadout funny and you already could barley harm him so he just let you to do your thing. At least the Friendly title shows who is actually friendly now.

This was a fun thing we used to do back in the early days. We used to have one guy in the squad equip 3 of them on a Fury and he would walk us to beacons we wanted to capture. Lol. It used to work too but there was hardly any energy weapons in the game back then. Zeus is the only one that comes to mind. Clearly doesn't work these days though because energy weapons are now everywhere you look.

Thanks Manni. Nice experiment. I propose another one. Try it with the Crisis, take it for a walk with double Ancile and 2 weapons with good damage and anti-stealth... and go hunting for other stealth Crisis!

I think that energy projectiles should be weakened by the blue energy shields- like the projectile damage be halved or something like that. that would atleast give the ancile some value

I really support you on a needed titan cooldown in the first minutes. The need to change the charge speed or just nerv titans in general. If those robots get x2 the stats all would be fine. But with moduls like TRA, they get qadruple the power of a normal robots which destroy my fun.

Atleast it protects you from weapons like bendy bullets, sonics shotguns, titan sonics, brisant, and hurricane.

Honestly this gives me an idea for the curie itself. It would be cool for it just to be a robot with a strong shield (blue or yellow idk) and the turrets would be the only source of dmg. This would of course require pixonic to buff the turrets to their previous stats or just buff them to a certain point. Point is that you can have great output damage but you need incredibly good placement. Idk if this sounds good but it Def sounds cool at least. It's literally the playstyle u did in this video but officialized

I love your good mood today manni. I run ancile on my weyland. I only blocks maybe 5% of incoming damage but in tandem with cover, it is ok. I use triple maxed fortifiers. I wish they were aegis shields, but paysonic will want money for this transformation. So maybe UE ancile?

It would be good if those turrets are able to be thrown further like the Mars turrets depending on how long you hold the turret button.

2:43 you were locked but there were so many different abilities on the side of the screen you can barely tell.

You know a simple fix that would make the ancile useful is that even weapons that bypass the shield lose some of there power by having to go through the ancile u still take damage just not as much and the ancile get depleted

Don’t worry Manni, that’s more items for them to transform in Ultimate versions! Ultimate Anciles lol, and I remember how you mentioned Anticontrol not being able to cope with all the negative effects in the game, well, Ultimate Anticontrol is on the way, Ultimate Modules and Drones and so on! 😄

This reminds me of how the ECU should be changed as well. Nothing drastic, just kinda reworked like the Rooks ability but automatic to where a new shiled comes in place once the previous one is destroyed after a set cooldown

when i started playing it was really rare to come by someone with energy shield bypassing weapons now everyone is bypassing them, and just instantly killing anyone who does have energy shields

Man I will you please do a few tutorial videos about module setups you prefer to use on regular robots and a separate video for Titan modules? Would be great to get a few knowledge videos and a few more strategic gameplay videos as well. I for one love learning from the best 😉

They should make blue energy shield can block 80% or just 50% of energy damage. It's like when an energy bullet passes through, it will be partially absorbed by the shield.

You’re absolutely right Manni. But like punishers they don’t perform well as well and also destrier and yet pixonic made ultimate versions of them rather than improving them. So with the culture of the company if they make it work they’ll have to put up an ultimate version of it because all the old members have it and probably decently levelled and they just need that extra step to make it mk3 which means pixonic do the work for us but they don’t earn the big bucks from it and that’s unacceptable to THEM. Too greedy and short sighted pixonic.

If you don’t get unbanned, make a huge video for 2-2.5 hours of viewing, where you tell how the game has changed over the years, how the developers use the same schemes, tricks, deception, how they behave with players and clans, with streamers, how they devalue purchases and specially make ower powered equipment so that people can buy it and then nerf it. Tell us all the company's policies that are hidden so that it will damage the studio's reputation and their sales. It reached the shareholders and dealt them an image blow. So that they remember you for a long time. Maybe your speech will be the start of a snowball that will blow away all their policies and leading people. You will open an overtone window, people will go to you tube and watch the revealed truth about the studio and their game, this will deal a colossal blow to their image and will attract attention. But of course this is the last shot into the sky, if you decide to make such a video, make it like no other. They will 100% try to ban him, keep this in mind. After that, all that remains is to look for a new game, and let this one go to hell. We are all looking forward to something new, to move away from this studio, we are ready to vote with our money in another studio, and we hope that a new game will appear that will outshine War robots and PIGsonic. This is a terrible attitude towards players, streamers and customers. PiGsonic should go down in history as an example of bad decisions.

@@ManniGaming From what I understand Pixonic is placing all of their hope and consideration into Frontiers, while they try to squeeze out any remaining sales out of War Robots. The developers don't even view War Robots as a project anymore, they're perfectly happy with it getting infinitely worse.

Manni, do you ever notice that the game especially lags when you start to shoot at them. I've experienced this, I have a Galaxy S23 Plus so my phone has great speed, had full 5G service, game was running just right when I was running and flying around but so often, right when I open fire, the game starts its lags and I usually lose my robot due to lags.

They nerfed the ancile shields about 3 weeks ago. The new Avalon ship has taken place of the Ancile shield.

I feel like the ancile shields are a remnant of when war robots was in the beginning stages and most weapons shot actual physical bullets, all they gotta do is update it to be a yellow energy shield same health same everything just yellow instead of blue that would actually make the game really interesting and fun but ofc they won't do that

Infinite emo is the real problem and the abilities of the robots have to have a limit of 5 uses and also when the robots are destroyed have a repair system that will force the players to wait 4,6,8 minutes until the robots are repaired this will increase the variety of robots in the battle and not the same Gigachad Meta Robot and finally create a system that forces the player to look for energy points around the map so you can ask for more emo.

Remember when Lancelot used Ancile? At that point in time there were very few heavy weapons that were actually useful, so it worked. Ancile is completely outdated and should never be used. Imagine Absorber Ancile for April Fools! 😆

Manni, what if Ancils could block energy weapons, but would take double damage from them. It would make sense, especially since Ancils have some much durability.

sounds good but in todays meta is just a nono. like considering you can just burn down rooks i doubt you could actually DOUBLE the damage which would only have to be 150-200k to get through..

Uff... difficult. Drones / Battleships / Pilots... For Pilots: Before they arrived we thought we are the pilots of the Mechs. That's why our name pops out of the Mech when we get destroyed. And how we were called" PILOTS" before when Pix made announcements. NOw we're suddenly called "Commanders" because we're no longer the pilots... Cause they needed a new layer of power to sell to people. Drones - if they were only for min-maxing with tiny bonuses would be fine. But as everyonething, they provide way too much power Battleships: Have absolutely no place in this game. But again: A new layer of power needed to be presented to drive a whole new level of sales.

Could you try the ultimate ao ming with infernos and maxed damage upgrades? i saw a video by predator testing them and I think we all would really like to hear your opinion on that and see your reaction to that setup... spoiler: it's the most broken damage output ever seen in WR. nothing has ever melted enemies as fast as this combo and I say that with confidence...

Where you intentionally not running a drone?

Titans should be the last bot you can drop. If you drop your titan with 7 minutes remaining and 4 bot left, once the titan dies you can’t drop anymore bots

At this point you better off using a hawk with 2 ancils and 2 heavy weapons

You seem suprised by the fact, that some players with medium level equipment just die in 2 seconds if shot by an Eiffel titan. You won't even have time to deal damage. That same happens to me daily. And nothing is going to change that, except meta bots/nearly maxed things.

I think glitches has something to do with how much rom u have.. I got a new tablet with more rom.. stopped the lags

Hm I’m running it on an emulator on a beast of a laptop with the highest possible graphics power you can currently have. But emulators translate the power differently. Could be related to that too. But I see so many messages with similar complains about lags. Seems to be very widely spread.
