I love this topic of conversation because I really struggle with oracle decks; my brain operates like a system, and oracle decks inherently have no set system or structure other than what their creator gives them. But so often, the art in a tarot deck might veer drastically from the traditional meaning, or the creator will add in bonus cards interrupting the system, yet I often embrace those new additions. So I try to be open to oracle decks, especially thanks to the insights from Dawn Michelle as you mentioned, and find that simple ones with keywords and realistic, grounded images/interpretations/phrases work best for me (nothing esoteric or spiritual).

I'd be tempted to use the Flowers of the Night and the Language of Flowers oracles together for what's in the shadow and what's in the light.

I’d definitely recommend getting the other Dan May deck. It’s like a massive hug but also a bit emotional. The artwork is just beautiful to look at and worth having for that alone ❤
