To make your house a bit safer, here are a few tips: 1. Get magma blocks and put it around your house. Mobs will take damage if they walk over it but if you crouch over it, you won't take damage. 2. If the magma doesn't work, use lava as a moat. 3. Put a villager in a cage outside your house with lava under so when its night the mobs will fall in the lava. 4. Put a bridge across a moat that is powered by Redstone so mobs can't get over easily. 5. Or put a cute wall around your house made from the magical wood you got. please like so Lizzie can see and add some other tips if you want.

Lizzie, if you go back to spawn you can get a shulker box and it works like a backpack.

You should put a fence all around your house and a mote around filled with water, then if there are monsters in the front of your house you should put a boat in the mote and swim all the way to the other side. Once you did that you should build an underground entrance to a secret mermaid room made out of those magical planks. You can also transport your farm there and make it big enough for trees to grow with grass for flooring. Plus you can hide all of your riches like diamonds so no other players "accidentally steal some" (notice I put quotations). And then finally to get away from the monsters there is a hidden passage in the underground room to go up back to inside ur house. And instead of using a ladder you will use water to get back up to the surface because ur house is mermaid themed. Then when you get in the house and all the monsters are outside you can use the dispensers with fire chargers in them to kill all the monsters without losing any hearts, or if you want you can fight them through the fence and use ur healing potion. Like if you agree because I really want Lizzie to see this. Plus I'm a huge fan a new I want her house to have a little more mermaid stuff in it. Plus you should make a mini mermaid beach right beside your house and to make ur house a lot more tropical put some seashells and a pool on the side of your house.

Some of my ideas: Make a garden on the roof, make an attic where you keep your animals/pets, make cannons to protect yourself from INTRUDERS!, make a giant kitchen, build a little river of water around your house and then a bridge to get across the water just like one of those olden day castles, put a pressure plate down and dispenser and fill it with fireworks and every time you succeed in something step on it, get a shulker box so you can carry stuff around like a backpack (Very useful and you can find one back at spawn), build a giant pool and invite Smallishbeans and Stacy, make a beautiful garden with the magic trees you found and some flowers, and my final idea, build a potion room... Hey Lizzie! You should make your house mermaid AND pirate themed! Be a mermaid pirate queen! Or at least have a pirate section somewhere. Making an outer wall designed like the pirate ships would be both super cool and functional.
