@@bauthentic333 She probably left to seek out greater economic opportunities, which is understandable. One thing that Black Americans need to understand is, if they relocate and do not have investment money to live off of, they will need to create a business that is largely supported by Americans. The reason why is because, to live well abroad and take advantage of the exchange rate between your home nation in the West and the local currency, you will need customers that can pay you in dollars, British pounds or Euros. I do believe that if Africans had the economy to thrive in, most would choose to live in their home nations. But they are faced with either stay in their home nation and remain poor (if they are not from upper income families), or move to a Western nation to work (and save) in the hopes of having some semblance of economic safety/security.

Where in West Africa?

The hair is everything on both ladies 🔥🔥🔥🔥. I love the collective energy many black women are experiencing at once. I love we are moving away and being surrounded by it and also love the ones creating it wherever they are. 💜 This is how I know the world is shifting. Black women's energy shifts the world. It is time for a shift. I plan on leaving as well to be in an environment surrounded by community and have help in the home as well. I'm going carribbean, mexico, or south America though. America unfortunately as based everything off money, and it is impacting all citizens greatly. This is why violence is high, anxiety is through the rough, stress is causing sickness and worst. I believe many women's mindsets are changing in the west. Because everyone won't be able to move. I am happy to see many building communities in the West to cultivate safe etc. environments. West has a huge shift a foot. I moved away from city life 15 years ago and would never move back to a major city. If I end up staying in America I'll just move further into the country. I'm in a secondary city right now.

You are right, it is the black woman's shift that is causing a global shift. We are waking up, finally feeling ourselves in a good way and feeling wonderful and free. Once we vibrate high, the planet and cosmos will align, shift to higher frequencies.

In Africa, you can get house help just like elsewhere in the world. But please do not enslave your househelper. Pay them something reasonable and help the househelper to invest and become better in doing something for herself. As a born African, most Africans with househelpers treat them as slaves because often they come from disadvantage positions of the society.

So true, thank you for sharing this truth. I was thinking the same thing while listening to these sistahs discuss the essential qualities of having help in the home. I witnessed firsthand how "househelpers" often get exploited, in the same way that whites did/do, by black employers, while studying abroad in Zimbabwe.

When I was in Uganda I had house help and a garbage man. They both said no one paid them as much as I did. I'm a digital nomad so I made a good amount of money at that time. $800/a person per month is good in Uganda for both of them. I saw they lived in the slums. There's no way you're gonna stay there while working for me. Even though I only changed two lives I plan to change more. I wish I was a millionaire. I want us all to win and do good.

This convo + both parts of the “10 things to know before moving to Tanzania “ videos have been a huge help & motivation for me to go on ahead and begin selling things so I can relocate there within the next year. Then the fact that you mentioned the feminine love everyone has for one another, how it’s a great country for a family(I don’t have one yet but want one) & you said you didn’t have to wait until 60 to go on 6 week trips but could still maintain the home you live in . 😩🔥 And it sounds like patience is key overseas. Which I’m fine with. I’m EXHAUSTED…actually more like recovering from burn-out from how fast and rushed everything is in the US. So I’m all for the slower pace and getting things done right or without doing someone else grimey in the process. Also the spiritual part. I FELT that. I really don’t think my soul likes the western world. 😂 It put so many things into perspective. And hopefully as an esthetician there’s work in the skincare field out there. This was just what I needed to help me stop saying how much I want to move to Tanzania and actually be still so I can seriously write out a practical plan and get real advice from an expat. You ladies are both GLOWING. And it was soooo beautiful to hear both of your stories. Thank you for sharing this video. 🌹🤍✨

I have been following both of you for awhile now and it is very interesting to find out that both of you are from Atlanta. I lived in Atlanta once before, moved away for several years and moved back. A few months after I moved back, I saw a guy that I knew prior to me leaving Atlanta and he told me that Atlanta had changed. At first I didn’t understand what he was saying because I was thinking that the Atlanta I left years ago was the same Atlanta that I came back to but as the years passed, I saw exactly what he meant. Atlanta is no longer the Black Mecca as it used to be. That period ended back in the early 2000s. Atlanta has now become Hollywood of the east. There is a lot of demonic energy in this city for the decadence is completely and I mean COMPLETELY off the chain. Everyday and I mean EVERYDAY somebody is getting shot. Just last week, 3 young children got shot and 2 of them died. The other is still in the hospital. The batty boyism and batty galism over here is totally out of control. A few years ago, a friend told me that her daughter who was in the 6th grade was approached by another girl and that girl asked her daughter if she was into girls. That shocked the hell out of me. You got a female child in the 6th grade asking another female child if she is into girls? And then about 3 years ago I was at an event and I saw a grown man at the event wearing a dress with 6 inch stiletto high heels. This guy had a full beard on his face so you knew it was a man and people were walking around like nothing was wrong. And then don’t talk about the racism. It has always been here but with the advent of Trump, it has gotten much much worse. There are a lot of other things (sex trafficking, drugs, police killings of Black men, lack of courtesy, the hypocrisy, etc.) going on in Atlanta that can fill at least 2 books. I am glad that both of you and your families are in a better place that is nurturing and conducive for a family.

I agree I am a Grady baby what I know is the culture, it’s bad everywhere but worse in Atlanta. No one wants to address it I think once they tore down the projects they move the culture to section 8 . Should it be normal that everyday a black person is dying like endangered species, no one is saying anything it’s like normal , plus there are no fathers around I had to get out and move to Florida with my daughter area are the same when whites live or are afraid in buckhead or perimeter mall it’s get terrible out here. Teens caring guns if you have to raise a black child in atl. Don’t do it. It’s a movie seen everyone in Atlanta that means no one cares look at how fani acted on tv, look at the mayor it’s all a game and who suffers the next generation because they think it’s normal to steal and kill or not to have a dad until these things are addressed this will continue

When we left Atlanta in 2016, we thought about moving back, but we visited first and noticed ALL of what you speak of! The sad part is that most of our friends who still reside there struggle with oppression because of the dark nature has taken over. We moved back to the Midwest and secured good paying jobs, decent housing and can travel, which we could not do living in Atlanta. We just flew back from Africa and came back through Atlanta. The rudeness and unprofessionalism by the all black TSA workers was sad.

Mambo! I am so so excited to see this video. I am in the US and is preparing for my transition to Kenya in January. I have been facilitating missions for almost 10 years advocating for young mothers and abused women. One day God spoke to me out of my frustration for America mindset and not walking in my destiny fully to just move. I have to say after preparing me and my family for a year this is the best decision I ever made in my entire life. I can't wait to get there and not having to come back here to live smh the peace and healing that is waiting for me omg. The reset of mind and body and soul is all I desire. Our helper chooses to work 6 days a week because she also eats her meals with us. She will also get 10+ weeks of vacation time this year so she is very comfortable

My aunt on her husband’s pension was able to afford a gardener who came several times a week, a live in domestic helper who worked six days a week. Almost forty years ago! I got to see how middle class people could afford the extra help because of the devaluation of the JA dollar and the economic crisis but also because they had basically continued colonizer behavior post slavery…the caste system remained. What I saw was the same cycle of oppressed becoming oppressors. When I talk liberation I’m envisioning all the way to those who are the workers and the most taken advantaged of in capitalism. For those who desire this also, there is space for having help in the home to bring more ease into one’s life and how we can share liberation with the people who are bringing that ease to us. 🎈💕🌞🙏🏽

Born and raised in East Africa, we had maids. When I came to North America, I became the maid. I spend my day in a cubicle, come home and cook and clean. I'm already plotting my return to my country of origin. My husband was not born there but he is ready to move too lol

I’m a white retiree moving to Africa after 3 lengthy trips there. I’ve been to Congo, Uganda, Rwanda and Kenya. I’m also considering Tanzania. I applaud African-Americans who choose to leave the USA. I wonder if I might find community support among these people? 😊

I know some people are not aware but in most African countries...its very normal to have home help. Middle to upper income Africans will often have at least two staff or help. Its how it is there. In the west its not that common.
