from Wales in the UK I converted a 20ft container into a workshop using insulation on the inside with wooden panelling. so that's how i started watching your channel and i must say the positivity the two of you give is a breath of fresh air, it seems that where you live is always bright and sunny even if it does rain !!!!!!!!!!!!! keep up the good work and thanks.

You need to put the little doorway like you put on this end. On the other end, on both ends, because if you don't, they won't look the same on the end and it won't be ornamental. So if you do the same on the other end, it'll be on a mental

You are quite welcome. What are the plans for the doors in the end. They kinda look good as is, that industrial look, but they do face the house. Easy thing to do is paint all of it to match the stain color you treat the wood with. I am not sure how to clad it with wood though. I know you are OCD, so I see you pressure washing the mildew off. When you treat it, what color? I like natural wood color, in the past I have a used a cedar transparent deck stain, multiple coats. That way it soaks in and doesn’t act like a paint that lays on top, and peel down the road. That’s for your videos, really enjoy them.

The shipping container shed is looking 🔥. I'm still waiting to see how you and Dylan handle the end of the container with the big doors. Are we going to side them and keep them functional or not. The suspense. Are you and Dylan going to keep the container there or are u gonna move it farther back on the property before u put on the lean too. Keep up the great videos. We haven’t decided on the doors yet! We want to add a different latch system because it’s very hard to close, but also want to cover them as well. The container is staying here! The lean to will be for the tractor and other larger outdoor equipment.

You both know how much I like watching you improve your homestead. There is far too little of that self-reliant spirit alive today! So, take this small bit of humor in the vein it was intended. Your new storage shed looks wonderful. But it needs a half-moon custom wood symbol over the door, with a sign for ladies to the left and men to the right. It definitely has a very "cool" open air look with that rafter design. Really wonderful job. If I can, I may copy your design theme, myself.

Great to see a young couple doing so much together and accomplishing such projects. Like a lot of others have stated also. I FixIt are great tools to have around the house for sure. I use them a TON for computer related projects. As I do a lot with computers. Best tools for the job bar none. I tried some off brands and they were, well. Let's say I bought more I FixIt tools. So handy.

Never thought about that, but it hasn’t been an issue with the container so I’d assume the wood would make it even less likely.

​@@Woodbrew Whether it's cladded in wood or not, it's still a steel box. I'm assuming you are going to run power to it? For what it's worth, I strongly recommend you ground the container especially since you have it elevated from the ground. Just my 2 cents.

If I’m being completely honest, I can’t recommend them. I’ve had multiple versions of the earbuds and I can’t stand having to get them to fit right and then having to remove them occasionally. I’ve also had multiple versions of the the ear muffs. The first pair I had were their top of the line ones and they were too heavy. These defenders are much lighter, but they hurt my head after a wearing them a long time. They push hard where your glasses go past your ear. The best ones I own are like $5 at harbor freight, but they aren’t Bluetooth or anything. ISO tunes is by far the best option I’ve found that has Bluetooth. I’m still searching for a Bluetooth pair that are comfortable all day though. This is incredibly bias though because of head and ear shape. I know so many people who rant and rave about the pair I own.

After everything so far, do you think that getting the shipping container and then covering it is better than just making the building from scratch? I was just curious, because I feel like the width of the Container is kind of limiting. Was wondering what your thoughts are now that you have done quite a bit with it. As always, enjoy the videos.
