Boston College should have been a school, because it was name a school not named after the city or state the schools in so since the school is in Chestnut Hill, BC should count. Also wake forrest was named after a city in NC so either BC should count or WF shouldn't

As somebody who lived in Dallas for 27 years, the TCU/SMU distance is SOOOO close. It really is roughly 19 miles compared to about 23/24 miles.

It’s not 19 miles. The campuses are 47 miles apart. Just for clarity it’s 19 miles from TCU to Arlington where the Cowboys play. It’s 25 miles from SMU to Arlington.

If Sam Houston State, which isn’t in Houston, isn’t on the last list, then Rice shouldn’t be either as there is a Rice, TX, but it’s not home to the university.

I agree they both should count. The only argument for different treatment would be that the city of Houston was incorporated before Sam Houston State. Rice, TX and the Rice Institute were both in the same year, 1912...though Rice, TX existed as an unincorporated community before then. That is a terrible argument. They both should count. Same with Austin College if you wanted to do Division III...which you should not.

When I think about the chargers I think San Diego so I was saying San Diego State and thought they were stupid for saying the closest school is one in LA

@@JT070 I don’t think it’s unusual for a college campus to have its own zip code. Shoot there is a single dorm at Texas that has its own zip code. Zip code are just a postal thing and have no bearing on city designation.

Are you measuring from the campus or from the stadium for the first question? If it's from the stadium, Georgia Tech's Bobby Dodd is closer to Mercedes-Benz than Georgia State's Center Park by about 0.2 miles.
