INFOSWORDS Epstein didn’t kill himself
In 2007, I was lucky enough to go to a taping of “Jeopardy!” And although I didn’t get to have a full on meet and greet with Alex, he gave the audience a chance to ask questions during the breaks. I raise my hand and asked him how long he was doing the show for, and he said for about 22 years. A week later, I wrote him a letter saying how much of a fan of him I was an asked him for advice on pursuing my future career in broadcasting. And he wrote me back and said to be well read and to take a keen interest in everything that takes place around me. Rest in peace, Alex. And thank you for all the amazing memories you brought to everyone through the show and being such a kind and down-to-earth person.

thank you so much for the reply, and yes, it was the coolest thing ever! When I met the staff at the door, I told them how I’m a big fan of him who happens to be blind and asked if I could have a meet and greet with him. Even though they told me he was getting ready to start doing the taping, they were kind enough to put me in a spot where I’d be close to him during it. When I sat down in the seat they put me in, I was told he was 2 to 3 feet in front of me. I’m really happy I had the opportunity to quickly ask him how long he was hosting the show for and that he took the time to respond to my fan letter.

And for those who may be wondering how I’m able to read comments on KZread and posts on social media if I’m blind, there’s a screen reader on my phone and laptop that’ll read them to me. Sorry for your loss. Alex is a testament to the strength of faith. Sometimes, though it may be tough, our best course is to rely on God.
Such a kind gesture that will definitely go down in television history.
It choked me up too! Alex was a household name, and beloved by So Many! He will truly be missed. May God rest his soul in eternal peace...free now from any pain & suffering...and his world only filled with lightness and love. Sincere Condolences to all his family, friend's & fans, as they grieve the loss of dear Alex. 🙏✝️💞
1st Jeopardy video I watched after hearing of his passing. It hits even harder now. RIP Trebek

thank you for the wisdom friend ✌✌ agreed completely, that gentleman's smile after we wrote it down and realized the gravity of his words, or perhaps hoped for such a response, he was just glowing when he was smiling and then his eyes sparkled as it played out. I think this was a very important clip and I hope so many people see this and think about a person who needs to be told they are loved today.
It's truly a sad day. I've watched Jeopardy with my family for over three decades. We love you and you will be greatly missed, Alex

Right! A type of cancer with bad odds that is vey hard to remission. I think that’s the significance of this whole thing and why it means so much to Alex. Because he’s been doing the show in spite of how bad he feels and even during chemo therapy and said he may have to stop because he’s ill
