That plant is mullien. It's a medicinal herb that's good for your lungs. Smokers make tea out of it or smoke it to clear the mucus and it has several other uses. It's also called Indian toilet paper 😂 Glad you got the animals organized again. Sorry for the ones you lost, but you can't control the weather. Texas Deb ❤

The second year it sends up a tall flower stalk with little yellow flowers on it. First year is just the low rosette of leaves like in the video. Recently, I learned that oil infused with the flowers and a bit of garlic is supposed to be good for earache. I am infusing some now to have on hand to try, if needed, this winter.

@@Subeesueinaz they can be invasive so probably good to pull most. I am growing a variety that isn’t native and supposed to be less invasive, but it’s only my second year. I started growing it for tea from the leaves that is supposed to be good for winter cough from colds. I have seen that part in multiple places. The ear ache drops from the flower is new to me. Since I had them I thought I’d try it out. It’s always good to research and have info from multiple trusted sources.

Mullein is the plant. Some people make a tea and drink it for respiratory problems. You can research it and find out more about it. Just relax and farm. It takes the joy out of farming and filming when you worry what people think. It is your life,not theirs. 😊

You need to always put the implements down on the tractor leaving them raised with the tractor turned off is hard on the hydraulic pump and seals 👍👍

Don't get discouraged Brandon. We all suffer some type of loss nearly every day, but God gives us more blessings than any of us deserve. This little storm will soon pass. That plant is Mullien. It has medicinal and antii-inflammatory properties and is used for respiratory congestion, coughs, bronchitis, etc. It is also helpful for urinary infections and wound healing.

Overhang put guttering on and keep water from running up into your house and ice damage to your roof and so on.

Put shallow pans of water in each pen. They can step in it and cool off. 😻

Hey Brandon, the rim around the house is called the sofit- it allows hot air out of the attic area - in cold times it keeps warmer airflow in the attic ❤ very important to have vents for the hip roof 🔨 Focus on all you do and not things you can’t control God Bless you all
