I've lived in Thailand for 5 years, taken hundreds of taxis and Grabs...zero problems, always friendly Thai drivers. But I don't try and jam too much luggage into a small taxi and tell the driver what his capacity should be. You had a large group with a lot of luggage, just pay for the bigger vehicle (which it appears you eventually did) instead of creating conflict. Westerners living in Thailand cringe when they see tourists acting that way. I enjoy your videos and you're normally considerate of local culture. Keep up the good content. 😍🇹🇭👍

I second this. I don’t currently live in Thailand but I was there a few times for over a month. I backpacked, and as tempting as it is to save money, it’s rude to try and bargain and stuff your luggage, or have too many riders, ect, ect. You are normally very respectful, and I enjoy your content very much but please be mindful of this.

I'm Thai but this taxi driver is very rude in this, 3:34 he even called him "idiot" in front of him in Thai, could have been more polite.
There’s nothing sweeter than being able to afford the luxury of traveling to different locations as enchanting and beautiful as this

This video is out of order, unless there was a trip to Dubai in between the Thailand backpacking trip 🙄
I always love watching you Christian and Ruby. Keep safe both of you always.
Second to Japan, Bali is perhaps the place where it's easiest to deal w/ drivers, tour guides and similar services. I go to Bali at least twice a year, have a local driver/friend pick me up or just go to the 3rd floor/departure area and take a Blue Bird taxi. I rarely have any problems. Balinese are generally honest.

Balinese are honest but Javanese are dishonest ! And a lot of Javanese living in Bali and working in tourist business..
We started using grab when in Thailand and that helped us bargin the price down with local drivers as they wanted customers over the app

You've gotta try the BUTTER BREAD CAKE, it's a slice of cake, rectangle shape, in a clear packet, by all the bakery stuff, normally on the bottom shelf Lolllll enjoyyyyyyy 🤪
You always come up with great content Christian, I'll attend the live stream just so I get the LCA for free
FWIW - Having the same issue my shoulder and it’s been determined to be a rotator cuff injury. Would recommend getting a good physical therapist to assess where the issue is coming from and put a plan together to get it back in order. Trust me, putting it off only makes it worse and PT helps quite a bit
Welcome home bro
I love your videos and i love you and ruby. Me and my partner are coming to Bali for the first time next month and i’m hoping we see you lol 🙏🏼

Yes, so tru! been to Bali and Thailand. More manipulation in Thailand because they can. Thai people are awesome, but when in the city and at the airport, not so great. Yoga for compression treatment. Downward dog bro! Haha
🔥🔥
Man, next time you're in Thailand. Go to 7/11 (I know you will...) 😂 and get the noodles in a tub. Then get the mini hotdogs with cheese inside. It has to be the one with the cheese. Put it in the noodles and the cheese inside the hotdogs melt. Living in Thailand for 2 years, this was what I ate when on the go!
How is Bali not worse when it comes to the airport taxi situation 😂
❤️❤️
Hey Christian, Canadian dr here make sure to get an ultrasound of your shoulder, it sounds like you have tendinitis (X-ray will not see that). ❤
Yay at the end of your videos used to be Laura
Hi! Hope all is well. I was wondering if you can recommend antitheft & reliable lightweight backpack and fanny bags for international traveling? Thanks in advance!
Will you be updating about your shoulder? Have you ever dislocated it?
any thoughts from anyone on best diving location for absolute beginners ?
Wow ❤ 👌
Did you book the ferry to phuket online?
Awesome Videos ....
I know this sounds crazy and will be repetative in your videos. But each time you enter a 7/11 or the sky train, I sharpen my ears.. The ting tong sound in 7/11 and 'next station.....' In skytrain takes me back to Bangkok in a second.. Love your content❤

Christian, you might have a pinched nerve which is making you feel like your shoulder has "no power". I would look into a good full body stretching routine. 15-20 Minutes, 3-5x a week, should be excellent. Can be paired at the end of your workouts, and you'll be doing a lot better!
Hey Christian I'm coming to Bali in January, is it a good time to go

Any one in Phuket this month (Feb 2023) want to get together for an adventure?
Your back is fine. You tore your labrum tendon.
Did you just recycle that Bali airport hack video? It's giving me de javu. I feel like I've seen that before in your videos years back. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Call the tourist police when dealing with the taxi driver next time. Next time you got to try the sticky rice burgers in 7/11

You might be paying for the juice passport… hopefully not and you got a placebo

It's already 2023, there's internet, you're like that, like a fool, I'll look for at least what country to go to. I can't stop thinking about foreigners who are geographically blind, I'll tell you Bali is not a country, Bali is a province, a part of Indonesia, you understand Canggu, Bali and the surrounding areas are Indonesian territory, Indonesia is big, we have 17,000 islands, you know, the island of Borneo is inhabited by 3 countries, namely Indonesia, Malaysia and Brunei, 70% of the territory is owned by Indonesia, understand, the country is Indonesia
After 1 month, seriously? Why did you even bother :-/
Is there a quarantine for haelthy unvaccinated in Bali 🤔
