I find that primary reason is the price of Chinese knives is usually about 1/3 of the cost of what American would be for the same quality.

Hope you're fine. They are smart with their way of making knives, a 3 steps process, if a model works fine they refine it more & more in qualities. Maybe made in China but material conception isn't. Not the strongest blades but knife is mainly for cutting= all good. :)

You should partner with Joe X channel from Austria 🇦🇹, best hardcore (belive me hardcore) knife tester on KZread to really see on field how good, tuff and bad ass your knives really are or how bad they are . All who depend on knife quality, at work should see his tests of best , most popular knives ...it is quite shocking

Chinese knives are very dependent upon who made then when...quality is all over the map...I've bought 27 of them and 5 have gone into the trash...a few are superb.

I try not to buy anything from China just because of their human rights issues. It's not possible all the time, I do shop at Walmart, but as far as knives go, I would never do it. Especially at 300 bucks!!!
