This is going to be a fun vampire movie to see in theaters

I feel like you could just do 20-30 seconds of them planning/talking about the kidnapping and then cut to black revealing only the soundbite "we kidnapped a vampire" - end trailer... not that hard. I'm available for ideas hollywood.

Wasn't there a direct-to-video film about ten years ago whose plot was that a bunch of thieves broke into and then were trapped in a house that turned out to be occupied by a vampire?

I feel like the only mistake made in the trailer here was having Kevin Durand’s character say, “They’re not real.” It seems like the sort of thing that will take the audience out of the movie, even more than the fourth wall jokes. If the character’s can’t believe the concept, how can you?

This kind of thing happens more often than ya think. "You're not real" "Ghosts don't exist" "It's all in your head" It's in every horror movie. And it's the whole "denial stage" that really sets the tone for the movie. Like what's about to happen from that point is going to be so insane it's hard to believe.

@BurntBattleBagel You're talking to the wrong people. Typical white people bashing in Hollyweird nowadays in this fi,m. They are either stupid or are the villain. There is the vindication of the villains. 'Oh they are not so bad they are just misunderstood.'. The movie breaks its own rules by showing moments where the vampire is super strong compared to regular people however we need them to be strong for this scene because of 'reasons' or to just keep the plot moving along. This movie is trash.
