The same reason lucifer was thrown out of heaven, jealousy & pride.

I am just waiting on the Lord and it is also m desire to honor Him in my marriage one day that is why I want His best for me. But I know that He Himself is the best for me. Can't wait to feel Jesus' love through another person I'm going to spend the rest my life with.

Somewhere working on his purpose. It you start working on what God wants to do for you individually, he may send Him. Marriage is not the end all be all of life. There are things God has called us to do in our single season that we won’t be able to do in a marriage. If you can’t be content single, you won’t be content married. I'm praying for you! I'd encourage you to read scripture- praying for God to work in your heart and mind. A good place to start is in the book of John. God has promised in scripture that His Word does not return void- it will accomplish the purpose for which He sent it! God promises that when someone seeks Him with their whole heart they will find Him. Don't give up searching in scripture- and if anything you hear about God contradicts scripture, reject it- there is a lot of ideas out there claiming to be Christian but not lining up with the Bible. i’m going to pray for you as well, God is very real. give Him your heart and He will show you how real He is. i love you brother/sister, and i do not want you nor anyone to go to hell because God did not design that for none of His children. however, people won’t listen or accept Him and He won’t force you too believe in Him. so, you have a choice. choose Jesus Christ and He will save you. Corinne Give yourself over to the Lord wholeheartedly. I prayed to The Lord for years for a husband and I never heard anything on it when I was living in sin. Just last month, I went out of town on a mini vacation & I met a woman in Walmart who told me she was sent by God to tell me that God is sending me a husband since I’ve been asking. This year I gave myself over for the first time. He will answer & He is watching over you but seek Him first. ❤️
