The Xbox Showcase CLEARLY showed that Xbox isn't going anywhere. What an INCREDIBLE showing that finally showed what Xbox Game Studios have been working on these past 3-4 years.

Stella couldn’t get into the Gears of War campaigns, but she really enjoyed Gears 4 and 5 multiplayer. She enjoyed literally the worst aspects of the franchise and couldn’t get into literally the best aspects of the original trilogy.

there was plenty of gameplay in SoD3. Whenever the camera switched to over the shoulder perspective that was 100% gameplay and the cinematics were 100% in game models and assets.

Felt like the old days of E3 type show. Showing things that people had no idea of that looked amazing and some extended gameplay of other things. great show

Yall need to do a tiny bit more research before these shows. Xbox held multiple podcasts, interviews, and other stuff that dove deeper into the games they showed throughout the week. For example, State of Decay 3 got a ton of new info like that Coalition is helping them with UE5 and that they’re using Obsidian’s Shared World tech from Grounded. Great improvements

Pointless to give a release date if they're not confident they can meet the deadline. Even then, giving a release date means NOTHING. Games get delayed plenty of times.

South of Midnight really stood out for me in the showcase. It looks absolutely fantastic.

State of Decay 3 had a post stating how the Coalition was helping with graphics and Obsidian to have players do a shared world like in grounded which will make this game even bigger.

Thankfully Dustin is on here to help Ryan. Cause the age gap for the references of these amazing games is lacking with the ladies this go round.

State of Decay had a minute of gameplay yes all the shooting parts are gameplay when it pulls back to behind the character over the shoulder that was gameplay that's what it looks like

24:23 - clearly states "in-game and cinematics" that means there was no official gameplay, just scripted scenes using their engine like every game with cinematics is capable of

Ryan next time you get Phil Spencer or Todd Howard in a room lock the door and ask them what is the story behind the Oblivon and Fallout 3 remake leaks. Were they just potential future projects? Were they canceled? Are they still in the works?

Destin the trend for the animation style comes from the animated movie, Spiderman: Into the Spider-Verse. The art and animation style inspired many. There are some behind the scenes that talk about how they used off frames to create certain animations for character movements. It really is a unique way to stand out from what we are used to seeing in most games / animated films.

As somebody that plays war zone on console and pc, it is a lot easier to aim and shoot on PC with the mouse. Then in console with the controller. Miranda might be put into easier lobbies on console.
