Ya it's a good thing Kate has me. LOL. Seriously though, the fact that we both stay relatively calm and carry on...is probably one of the main reasons we are still married after 19 years.

Things will always go wrong, no matter how well you plan! It's how you handle it that really counts! We were in northern Idaho a few days after you filmed this and had to completely change our route after a line of storms kicked up forest fires all around the area.

So true! This trip, it was truly our own fault though lol! Glad you made it out to Idaho again!! The fires were terrible this year. Lolo pass was only open for like 6 days between snow pack and forest fires. Thanks for taking the time to watch our video Rob!!

Love this. Been there many times and the ability to roll with it and be flexible makes for a better adventure.

Road closed, I've been there. Just this year in fact. Went up there with a group of Subaru Crosstreks June 19th, 2022. Gate was in fact closed. There was snow on the road just a little up from the gate.

This was almost exactly a year ago on July 2nd. The road opens on July 15…I just misread the notices before we left. Hopefully won’t make that mistake again. That road would be treacherous in the snow!!
