I think Stephen's videos are a success because of his ability to recognize everyone is really the same on the most foundational level. We all deal with parental expectations, generational differences, family stereotypes, the over the top relative.. Doesn't matter if it's your Asian dad, your Italian nonna or your slacker friend. "Emotional damage" is universal. We all share it. You might as well laugh at it.

Stephen didn’t know Chinese mainlanders could see his stuff on KZread, because he never got sponsored by those VPN companies like Uncle Roger did. EMOTIONAL DAMAGE!!!!!😂😂😂

Yeah you're right. But a lot of Chinese people know nothing about VPN. And you also need to reach a specific level to understand these English contents. So...there are a lot of barriers.

This is one of the best interviews, Stephen (Asian Boss ). I love Steven He! I love his Irish accent. He’s not at all pretentious. He’s very humble, and very genuine. Thanks for delivering another east meets west interview! I’m Irish, living in Canada. Well done both of you.

Especially like his mindset towards achieving success! As a society, have we over celebrate the outcome and forget that the mindset towards getting this success is more important ? The mindset is the real skill that'll allow success to be repeated.

He is an AMAZING human being. The answer he gives throughout this interview really shows Steven is a really deep person. Learned a lot from his mindset and everything else.

Thanks for such a great interview, love all the questions asked and I learned some new mindset from Steven's sharing. I'm a huge fan of Uncle Roger and I first got to know the emotional damage meme from there, but after checking out Steven's videos I didn't get some of his jokes. After knowing about Steven's background and experiences in this interview I have respect for his attitude towards life, the optimism and resilience is something we all can apply in our life 👍👍

I love these discussions. Glad I subscribed you re channel. I found funny the question about being Chinese/Irish because you re both and none at the same time. you can only tell you have an Asian genetics. I'm Portuguese and I don't feel like one, and when I look at my genetic test and it happens I am , 47%Iberic, 27% UK, 15% north African, 9% Scandinavian and 2% midle East....so, does it really matters what "Kingdom" do we belong to? We are all special because every human being is a statistic improbability. I don't even bother with such a question. Rather than trying to get attached to a human idea of nation, i prefer to believe my "nation" is my species and the diversity it encompasses.

Had no idea he grew up in Ireland. The accent really did only pop up when ever he talked about Ireland. His normal accent is very unique, maybe because of his unique background.
