Top teams like Liverpool, City, etc don't make excuses. That's why they're at the top) and every team had to suffer playing in silence, not just Liverpool. Anfield has an overrated crowd. You guys are brilliant at times, yes I agree (like against Barça in that 4-0). But you guys do a sing-song before kickoff and then start groaning and you cause unnecessary panic. When your team is firing on all cylinders, you guys are brilliant, but you guys are horrible when your team is suffering. Simply horrible. The amount of tension that you guys create, instead of getting behind your team is insane. People make the assumption that every Anfield game is like that Barça one. It's not (you just need to watch the games to know that). Every fan base gets nervous when their team suffers, but Anfield really causes unnecessary tension. Your players' performance dictates the state of the crowd and not the other way round, which is exactly opposite of what other fanbases do (hence they don't cause so much unnecessary panic)

No wonder he doesn’t last anywhere more than a few years, you’ll burn out going at this pace 24/7 and I’m sure that’s what he does. That level of intensity and passion, along with his tactical brilliance makes him for me the best manager in the world.

@@shikhargovil9579 he was at Barca for barely 4 years when he could’ve had that job for life, that’s not so much time. He’s already said that he’s leaving city next year, so that only like 4 years. I know that in European football managers are fired quickly and people have zero patience, but he’s someone that always chooses to leave. Nothing is wrong with that, point was that his style must be exhausting for him and his players

@@neill3040 yeah, can agree on that. most of the time he leaves clubs himself without any pressure from chairman, and does take long break before going for next stint. the intensity and pressure( not to mention that he is under a lot more pressure than other managers because of money he spends) means getting exhausted.

@@neill3040 next year would mean he’d been at city for 6 years and that is quite long for managers in modern football. So saying that’s why he doesn’t last long is not very accurate . He spent three seasons at Bayern and that was his shortest stint but by any managerial standards , that is still a decent amount of years. He said once that players do get bored and tired of the same tactics after 3 years so you have to find a way to motivate them.

Valverde's problem was he wanted to play a simple system with an aim to not concede rather than let his players create and shine. Nope!! Its Sir Alex Ferguson. Being at the same club for for so many years and building a team that was BROKEN to champions and winning day in and day out, winning trophies season after season.
