@@Shunnabunich Actually, parking duty is commonly assigned to new rookies, usually for a couple of weeks if they're locals, a couple months if they're from out of town, and usually on a route roughly consistent with what their patrol beat is likely to be, with strict orders not to engage in pursuit, but to radio in any occurances. It's common practice. It allows them to get familiar with the layout of their beat without putting them in a dangerous situation due to their ignorance or random street crime. Bogo was actually taking Judy a hundred percent seriously, and giving her the opportunity to acclimate and learn about the city and how you get around it before he put her on an actual patrol beat. Probably every cop in that bullpen had been on parking duty when they first arrived. This is reinforced later, when Bogo is chewing her out in his office... if any other cop had done what she had done, they'd be in that office being chewed out just like she was. And he does admit that she did, indeed, catch the perp. It was her reckless method that he had a problem with... she put herself and a whole lot of people in danger and caused a ton of damage in her hotblooded and, I might mention, against-orders pursuit, when she wasn't supposed to be an active pursuer to begin with. Bogo was well within his rights to drum Judy out, and arguably was making the right decision in doing so. She could have gotten herself and a whole lot of rodents killed and it was literally only blind luck that none of that happened. A cop gambling with lives like that is absolutely unnacceptable. Doing so against orders, doubly so. Nick's chewout actually made Bogo realize what Judy thought was going on, and as a result he eased up a little on her, because he realized she wouldn't have been so hot to prove herself and reckless if she hadn't thought he was writing her off as just a helpless bunny.

Fun fact: the pig that yells at Judy about his store getting robbed is played by actor Josh Dallas. He’s the husband of the actress who plays Judy Hopps, Ginnifer Goodwin. They were both main characters on the show Once Upon A Time which is where they met, got married while working on that show and now have two sons together. So that scene with the pig that owns the store and Judy is actually a husband wife acting side by side scene! Just thought it was cute and wholesome and you’d maybe like to know!

i know!! i was always a big animal fan as a little kid, so i was excited to see it was based on anthropomorphic critters of all types. i remember watching it for the first time with my grandpa in the theatres, and we couldn’t stop laughing at the dmv scene. (it absolutely sends me into tears everytime i rewatch it) now that im older i realize there was a hidden element behind the movie; like every disney/pixar movie will have for older audiences. it seems like an innocent cutesy world full of animals, but the whole “go back to your (habitat name)” is sadly most likely supposed to reference to background racism/stereotypes in large communities. at a young age I didn’t pick up on it, but it’s sad how people treat eachother based off of their background, race, religion, etc.

The language people habitually use when talking about each other has a way of gradually shaping how they think about each other, too, so "cute" becomes "harmless" becomes "ineffective". Disney has kinda been on a 'female protagonist without love interest' kick. I think Tangled was the last movie they did where Rapunzel had a love interest and married at the end. Zootopia, Raya and the Last Dragon, Frozen (I mean Elsa here), all the protagonists do not get a lover. They are kinda going in the girl power direction where independent women don't need a man. So I don't really expect it. I also like the fact that Judy and Nick can be both seen as friends, partners or a couple.

It just doesn't really fit in my opinion. On the other hand, it leaves more room for shipping and the gay shipping between Raya and Namari in Raya and the last dragon is insane.

"Hopps...Carrots....Judy!" "Girlfriend!" 😂not gonna lie, I thought the same thing the first I watched it. They had a moment when nick was telling his backstory, plus he cared so much about her when they fell out into the water, even after she blackmail him. Also that moment in the cop car at the end. Did Disney do this on purpose? Or is it just my imagination gone wild?

  • @osets2117

The directors did that on purpose, they wanted a "will they won't they" vibe for Judy and Nick They put out a survey on Twitter, I think, asking if people thought they were either, just friends or more than friends. It was 49/51 with thousands of votes. Me personally I'm all for the relationship, the way they interact with each other, especially on the cable car where Judy puts her hand on Nick's after he tells his story, right there, that was the moment

This movie does a GREAT job at peeling down the layers of how racism can work. Hopps is a perfect example of a privileged person who is totally unexamined (at least early on). Sure, she faces struggles and prejudice... and then fails to appreciate her own.

Omg loved this movie and your reaction to it is just priceless. Fun fact: the original storyline for this movie was a lot darker, with shock collars being forced onto all predators when the matured and they would monitor a predator’s behavior so they would get shocked if they got too angry or excited. There’s actually a drawn excerpt of it that you can find on KZread. Of course the darker tone was scrapped for something a little lighter that kids would like better. Aww, Scooby is so cute. My friend sits with me when I paint. His name is Trevor Teddy in his little Christmas sweater, had him forever and he especially loves the holidays. I would have to say my guilty pleasure would be puns. Good or cheesy, I just really like puns. I love all jokes but puns come so easily to me. Great video and can’t wait to see more. Greatly waiting for the day you react to Wolfwalkers.

great reaction, as always, but it seems like you may have missed the point of the "Bellweather's hair is so fluffy" thing. many black people experience getting touched without their permission the way Nick was touching Bellweather's hair just because they think it's so fluffy. they may think it's innocent but it's a micro-aggression and imagine having that happen to you multiple times a day by strangers. it weighs on you. and these were animals so it was easy to laugh at but imagine knowing that your ancestors were once treated like animals and then feeling like people were petting you all the time. it's not a great feeling. just something to think about.

My hair is really big and throughout school my friends would push down my hair messing it up, stick pencils in it and pull on my curls to watch it stretch. I know this is an older video, but here's a fun fact! Mr. Big is such a feared crime boss because he's an arctic shrew. Despite their size, arctic shrews are known as the most vicious carnivores on Earth, mostly because they hunt like rabid dogs and they cannibalize each other. They also move quickly, are constantly hungry, are very territorial, and have only one natural predator aside from themselves -- owls. So yeah. :D Edit: I just discovered that shrews are venomous and have been recorded killing snakes that try to eat them multiple times.

I love all of your videos but this is my favourite. When you said that water (H2O) is underrated, I completely agree. People think I'm extremely weird because I don't drink any kind of juice/squash or fizzy, I only drink water. I'm not sure why I'm like that because no one else in my family only drink water. And people are always like, "oh, I hate water", but they do know that when they drink juice/squash (depends where your from) that you add water before they drink it right. Anyways I thought I'd just mention it and I LOVE YOU, YOUR VIDEOS AND THE ONE THE ONLY MR SCOOBY DOO
