Yes!!!

Bolt bend could have been used to just exile elesh norn instead of the swiftfoot boots. Bolt bend targets the ability and then would change the target of the ability which would still be controlled by peachy which makes the hexproof not protect.

I was very conflicted about who to root for on this episode, Urabrask is my favourite preator, but black is my favourite color

Really fun game. Always great to see Melissa! I still remember her black white modern tokens top 8 grand prix performance. So fun to see her play! And it was live haha. Miss those grand prix days. That tokens deck inspired me to take up the archetype and have a whole lot of fun and almost win a pro tour qualifier. Unfortunately, living end got me haha. Really enjoy the interaction amongst y'all. ❤❤❤

I want to know how important Veggie’s cards in his hand were, because he had several opportunities to make Solphim indestructible. I have a Sheoldred, The Apocalypse deck and I love it. The only problem is that Sheoldred is a huge hate target, so I also play low cost cards that keep her from dying (like Supernatural Stamina) and reanimation. Also, this was recorded before The One Ring and Orcish Bowmasters were things. GAME CHANGERS!

This is quite a nice chill commander game. Definitely worth a like and sub

17:38 didn't need to get the dog back, could let Elesh Norn go to the graveyard as part of the resolution of Wild Magic Surge, and then when Karmic Guide's trigger is put onto the stack (after Elesh is already in GY) choose Elesh Norn as the reanimation target. (also note, you don't have to choose whether or not to put Elesh Norn back into the command zone until after the Wild Magic Surge is finished resolving, so you have all the info needed to reanimate Elesh Norn, if this is preferred compared to the dog, also saving four life but losing out on two cards)

@@TraurigeNacht you are mistaken here. The commander always hits the GY/exile and waits there until state based actions are checked, which is after the spell is finished resolving. Perhaps you are reading some old rules version? Because this rule was changed in 2020 (for example do a google search for "commander graveyard rules change"). The commander now always hits graveyard/exile and sits there until next SBA check.

@@TraurigeNacht This is no longer how commander works. it has been changed to be "If a commander is in a graveyard or in exile and that card was put into that zone since the last time state-based actions were checked, its owner may put it into the command zone. If a commander would be put into its owner’s hand or library from anywhere, its owner may put it into the command zone instead. This replacement effect may apply more than once to the same event" They changed it a bit ago so commander can still trigger death effects

I miss my old Jund partner deck. Ilharg and God-Eternal Rhonas/Grave Titan was such a fun combo. Especially with Rhythm of the Wild out to give them +1/+1 counters.

This was such a crazy episode. Powerful commanders made the episode heat up so fast! I love getting to play Commander with my friends everyday.🥰

Super glad to see Sheoldred and urabrask. Sheoldred is my main deck and I’m trying to work on urabrask the hidden but wasn’t sure how to make him work with my budget.

Also, very comical to me that the person playing elesh norn mother of machines keeps complaining about Sheoldred lol. I enjoyed the pod besides her. Also she shouldn’t have won the game. She had 3 life at the end but didn’t trigger damage in Sheoldred two times.

When veggie swung at peachy with the Malignus she shouldn't have been able to block with the dog, "Damage that would be dealt by Malignus can't be prevented", unless I missed something that negated that ability?

Mono black is so good at life gain and dealing with multiple opponents at once. Mono black is the most viable commander color in my opinion.

Just gonna throw out that someone is playing elesh norn mother of machines……. That card is disgusting. Also I am not salty in general about deck choices as it’s a praetor deck episode.
