@@aprilhampton6298 , oh my heavens you have your hands full that is for sure. Bless you for being such a blessing in these babies lives. I hope the Lord provides comfort and strength for you as you manage your way through this phase of life. I had my first (and only) child when I was 44. While there are some pluses to starting your family when you are older ( a little wiser maybe and a bit more financial freedom) but the energy - whoa...that is a tough one! Bless you.

When my kids were young, I would take an empty paper box from work. Write the size on the end of the box for the clothes I was saving. Then I would keep those boxes on the floor of the closet of the child I was saving the clothes for.

Have you ever thought to have a room just for clothes and shoes etc. sorted by size? That could save you tons of organizing and piles. Your kids could help you by shopping the room for clothes and shoes etc. So Momma doesn't have to do everything. The kids can put things in there also on whatever system you think to do. I had 3 kids but I have seen this done with friends with lots of kids. I think you are already doing great! I do not know how you do it.

Fun tip @Jammerill. I never allow UPS, FEDEx, or Amazon boxes in my home. Several years ago, various warehouses were suffering from bedbug infestations, so I put a large table on the front porch for deliveries. Also, so I don't have to bend over and dead weight lift with 6 herniated discs. This way, I recycle outside and never have unpacked boxes. Forces me to put everything in its place right away. Also, I use my kids to run things inside and place them where they go. It's a lot better than finding boxes of stuff and needing to devote hours to unpacking clutter all at once. Plus I try to buy just what I need and this way, I start using things right away and know if they work or not.

I have those carts as well, Jamerill, and mine are actually the taller versions. In the kitchen, they hold a selection of my rings, lids, grippers, funnels, etc for my canning. I have a 1950's relatively small kitchen and needed a place I could grab from when it was necessary. My next room over stores the tubs of rings, lids, jars, and extra appliances, so it is all accessible and easy to get to if I need to. Good job on getting your space back to a sane feeling position! I'm super proud of you!!

Great job sorting and organizing. I like going through our house a couple times a year and get a pile going to donate. We almost always have something to donate. Years ago I had a harder time letting go of stuff (I think cause money was tight back then and I thought I should keep stuff in case I needed it), but now I don't think twice about donating. It actually feels very freeing to declutter!

Same, my lids and some of my rings are in a drawer in my kitchen for easy access and my empty jars are upside down in our storage area in the basement.

when you mentioned that it was mean tto be that you were not on the road when you wanted to go to the dr appt and thrift store i totally understood. i've been like that all my life. in fact, i was trying to prepare some food to go into the microwave and i kept making these stupid mistakes and i stood there and and said 'i'm not suppose to eat this' and i trashed it. i learned to listen when my angels and/or life just tries to get my attention.

Hi from Melbourne Australia..when we make salmon patties/rissoles..we add mashed potatoes as a binder and grated onion and fresh parsley..shallow fry in a neutral sunflower or canola oil and serve with various sauces or mayonaises..we also use the same concept and cook the entire ingredients in a baking/casserole dish and serve alongside vegies or salads..should give it a try!..regards

Jamerrile there’s a church in Hburg that lends out all kinds of medical things. I have gotten things from them before and when you are done they take them back for someone else. All are donations. I love watching your videos and happy gardening season.

With clothing blessings and working your way thru each kiddo, try using rubbermaid bins labeled by size for pieces you're willing to pass on.. and potentially be able to help others that way as well. And they're stackable for a lil corner of the basement

I was raised to turn clean jars, storage containers, and glassware upside down to kept dust, etc., out. We still run the canning jars through the dish washer to sterilize and to keep them hot before filling them.

And another one floating in the pantry to use as a shopping cart while you are grabbing things. Just some thoughts. Have a great day! Hugs Em ❤❤❤❤
