I don't remember ever having it but I've heard of it. From what I heard babies in diapers get it from putting their fingers and hands in their mouths all the time after touching their diapers or poo or pee. And if they touch on your face you can get pink eye. Never had kids but my nephew and niece had it when they were babies. They were miserable the whole time. Sorry, and hope Mav gets over it soon. No fun for him I know. He's just the sweetest thing. If I lived close I'd baby sit him just to see that sweet smile and sweet voice. You guys are blessed with all your kids. Glad you all are doing well and hope God continues to bless you with more than you can handle...lol. Take care. Love from Alabama.

Did some checking on the chickens not laying. Know some folks here who have had the same problem. They found it was the food. They dumped the commercial food, found someone that was mixing their own. I hope this helps. God Bless you all.😊

They already made that food switch a while back. It was talked about on one of their videos. The problem here lately might be our extreme heat and/or the age of the hens.

Mav is so independent but momma has to be there to watch. My little granddaughter turned 3 in August and she loves to be outdoors and grabbing bugs and fish. She hasn't grabbed a snake yet but I'm dreading that day. Thank you so much for sharing your life with us. Makes me feel like part of the family to watch your beautiful babies grow. Hope you had a great birthday London hard to believe she'll be a teenager next year. They grow up too fast.

My daughter had HFM at two also and I got it from her. I was extremely sick (high fever, rapid heart rate, couldn't walk for days because of the sores on my feet) and had to be hospitalized. They thought I had sepsis. The doctor told me that most people have it as kids so they don't get it again later. Guess I was in the "lucky" minority 😂 hope he feels better soon!

Be so careful and pray you don't get it. My daughter just got it at age 25 and it's miserable as an adult, it hangs on long and the symptoms were so much worse for her 😭

I raised 5 kids and no one ever had this. I never heard of it until the grandkids came along.

I hope maverick gets feeling better soon. I will pray that he gets feeling better soon.

When my kids were young, I think all of four of them had HFM. Now my oldest is almost 40 years old, and I know things have changed. But my pediatrician had me dip a cotton swab in Benadryl and paint their mouths. But only at bedtime. When one of my grand babies got it I was telling my daughter-in-law what I was told to do. She looked at me like I had four heads. I reminded her that things had changed a lot since my kids were little. But boy did they sleep at night! And I only used what was absorbed into the swab!

We’ve had a copperhead in our flowerbed. It came out last week and bit my dog. Then got away from my husband. It came back out this week and I put him out of my yard.

Chickens tend to pick at any thing unusual on another chicken…when she has no more visible scars, scabs or marks is when to try again. Good luck

Poor little guy!!! He seems like a little trooper...My son was 2 when he got it and its how we got rid of his bottle...He actually threw it and never wanted it again...Little ones have to go through these times...glad they dont remember them.

My boy got it too as baby 28 yrs ago, I think he go at playground, I've always bathe him every evening after playing there, as we knew cats used it too. Plus whatever else lived there. But little hands do what little hands do unfortunately!

My son got it and then a month later my husband and I noticed our hands where peeling..we must have had a mild version and just got the after affects of the peeling. Praying for your son and you as you care for him.

So sorry to hear about Maverick as unfortunately kids do pick stuff up.Had a blast watching him on the tractor and checking out the garden. Last Saturday went to Herman Park in Houston and wore my Yee Yee tee shirt. I finally got to ride the train there and it was fun. Didn't ride the paddle boats but looked like fun. I got it all five times with my daughter (she's only 3.5) and it was AWFUL two of the times! Each blister hurts sooooo bad no matter how tiny they are. HFM is no joke!!!

Eating pineapple will help get rid of those yukky bumps in the mouth and kills the infection.Had a doctor confirm it!. And yogurt helps the gut.

We never had to deal with that but one doctor in Oklahoma told us we had new herd syndrome. I explained to him we are not cattle so give me a human answer to what wrong. Lol
