I’m not exactly sure where it comes from. It does only get dumped like 1 every two weeks. So it get really packed.

Now that was a huge load!

Here's a great time to learn something. I assume that first truck has a compactor of some sort to compress that much trash. Is it a safety thing or malfunction or......that the driver could not use it to push the trash out? Thank you for another awesome video at the station. Looks like our nice sunshine is coming to an end unfortunately.

Hey! Yeah so that was a compactor that doesn’t get dumped very often and the customer that uses it always fills it to the max. The TS worker had to use the crane because other wise I’m not sure gravity alone would do the trick. Thanks for watching!

it is a roll off compactor dumpster. some of them the compactor is left onsite some of them take the container and compactor. however the hydraulic pump gets left behind. and the truck has no provisions to hook it up to its hydraulic system.

I love your channel very much! So nice flow streams of liquid, pull out bags from dumpers, trucks with huge quantity of wheels.

How many truck loads on average get taken to the landfill each day?

It usually averages about 8-10 trailers hauled to the landfill each day.

How many tons a day to you get? Edit: if that’s from one customer, they got their money’s worth.

Hi! I’m not exactly sure the tonnage overall daily. I do know they fill 11 to 13 trailers a day of trash each one holding 55,000 pounds to 60,000 pounds. Also those are 53’ trailers being loaded.

They do have a machine the scrubs the floors. It’s been down for a while so they haven’t used it. Mostly they just use a high pressure hose to spray it down. Thanks for watching!

Not really. It's matched to the machine. There are piles so large the loader could not push it in one attempt but ate away at it little by little.

I’ve seen that before. Where we dumped they’d pull you off to the side and use an excavator to pull it loose. What a pain in the 🍑

Yeah it’s very annoying having to haul one of those compactors. It takes way too much time! We ain’t got time for that nonsense!
