I agree with you Avi, avoid going to famous brand cafes or restaurants, rather try joints like chapri and khokha in India . you will find amazing food and drinks with really good taste and reasonable price.

I went during Christmas and Galeries Lafayette main huge tree in the centre of the mall, touching the roof. Next time plan during Christmas time Nov to Dec! You will get to see different Paris
