The best thing living in the province in the Philippines special in the south are so affordable specially the tourist spots and their food and delicacies, peoples are so kind and funny what more if you can communicate their local language you will more attached and understand the truth of having a Gems. Take care everytime.

What I noticed too, very rare, is a parent..Jay.. recognized Story’s words immediately. & gave her his attention. How many times have you heard a child say excuse me so many times before a parent looks at them.?

You're not really in Butuan City but in the Municipality of Buenavista, Agusan del Norte. It's a sleepy town next to Butuan if you're travelling towards Cagayan de Oro City or Bukidnon.

Good norice

Its very commom in the Philippines a tropical country that is, there no hot shower in every household. But in case we need it in some instance, we just boil water & mix with the tap water. Nice to see you are adopting a rural life with your beautiful family. I love how Poppy grow into adorable dog under your TLC. ( tender loving care)

We checked in there last December for 3 days. The owner speaks good American English and good bisaya. By the way, I am glad that you are coming back to Iligan. I hope you can visit the Timoga spring pools.

In Siargao most of the hotels even the budget ones do have hot shower because it is a tourist destination. They know that tourists look for that. Filipinos like to bath using cold water, the normal temperature form the tap that is the reason why most of the hotels that you say you have been to don't have hot water. But five star hotels in the big cities have complete amenities for the guests. If you guys want to live in a nice beach environment that is peaceful, just like the place you have in Siargao, try Bantayan or Malapascua in CEBU, without a doubt, you will love it there.

You are so blessed to find all the places you are having to move to and I believe the symbol on the door is the Christian sign of the fish so you are in a blessed place ❤️

Cold showers does a lot of health benefits! Hard to adjust whenever i went to philippines, but after getting used to it, i started doing it when i came back to vancouver!

I never used to appreciate growing up outside the city but I'm now looking at it differently.

Great video ♥.. Story and poppy are very cute😊. yes most Filipinos don't have showers even. They wash from a large bucket using a scoop. It's too warm for hot showers really. But if the weather is miserable you do miss a warm shower.

Yeah...in the Philippines since it's a tropical country people prefer to shower cold..we rarely have a cold climate that's why we don't usually use heater except in Baguio City they need heater coz its really cold there, but heater now a days is really affordable it's just its really no use for us except in December which is cold but we can just boil water if we need to..

Story is big now so pretty and smart and adorable kid..enjoy eating champorado so yummy

There's a nice place for you to stay where you can't xperience typhoon this is the Western Mindanao. There's a lot of nice beaches there. Visit also Dipolog city and Dapitan city. Dapitan city is where our national hero was exiled and there's also white beach there called Dakak. Stay safe always. God bless

Being as a OFW overseas Filipino workers that we been working abroad just to give our family a good life and specially a even a small house to live in that you can say that its your home to be in further future I really know and feel about being to have a at least a comfortable house and I just only wish and pray that at least in the future you can buy some your own property when you will have a permanent visa or dual citizenship from our government same for those couple vlogger that have been given a permanent visa, wish you for your family to have this kind of opportunity to have a nice land and house in the future for the sake for Storey and as a parent we always pray for a comfortable life not for us but instead for our children.....GOD BLESS AND MABUHAY....

I would suggest you also consider living in Bukidnon especially in the town of Maramag(my hometown). As a Vegan family of yours, Maramag is one of the best place to live in Mindanao as the town provides a lot of fresh produce with very affordable price which i can assure you will enjoy. And before i forget, we also have the cleanest public market in the Philippines.😁😉
