We Had A Report Of Someone From Greenpeace Walking Up And Down 😲✌🎥🛸❌

Today we take a look at What More UK, Altham Business Park, Shorten Brook Way, Altham, Accrington BB5 5YJ.
This is another site which is located at the end of a road so they tend to have less members of the public walking around but this does not mean that standards can slip.
We find, plastic pellets left discarded in many places, trip hazards, forklift use without proper registration and staff who do not take the issues seriously.
They even call the Police with a false report that I am an Activist from Greenpeace.
Enjoy!

This video is the perfect example of why people need to audit these places on industrial estates because allowing plastic pellets to fall onto the floor for wildlife to confuse as food and to fall into the water drainage system can cost these companies fines of over £100,000+ for pollution and endangering wildlife. I also think you should re-visit some of the worst offenders to see if they take note or don't give a shit. And wonder whats goes into the river at the back ??

I intend to make a complaint to this shoddy business regarding this serious matter. As you quite rightly say wildlife will probably eat those pellets. It’s absolutely disgusting. And there’s no excuse for it. And the two men that lied regarding the pellets being cleaned up daily is also absolutely disgraceful. The whole place stinks of shoddy careless practices. Outstanding work mr Audits. The officer could have shown more appreciation and understanding to what you told him and showed him. But he was fairly reasonable. I really hope the council, environmental health and united utilities all take action regarding this absolute criminal behaviour by this shoddy business.

As for the fork trucks what would happen if they were to be involved in a road traffic accident. If it was a member of the public driving around without registration, tax and insurance the police would be on you like a ton of bricks.

Health and safety law (HASAWA 74) applies to anywhere a person can get to. The pipe at the side of a public path is a trip hazard for anyone stepping off that path - the company need to either remove the hazard or mark it up / barrier it, as they are liable for any issues arising from it. An uncovered pit in the middle of your yard is your fault, if an intruder falls into it!

That's why I said is there a Injunction or something as they normally have signs all over the place but nothing at all. So wherever you are from, you can walk up and down that public footpath all day long with your camera and the police should not be called unless a crime is suspected.

Police don’t only deal with crime, police deal with calls received. People don’t know what is a crime, same as the police don’t. People in HiVis tabards are the legal eagles in my book, they should be listened to intently and then……told to frig off.

Action needs to be taken against them and reported to the Environmental Agency (EA) and also the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) also report to the police about the fork lift using the road with tax and insurance under Road Traffic Act. The road is maintained as a mixed responsibility. Also should be charged for wasting police time.

Really enjoyed this one. What a good set of observations and a big thumbs up for the way the police officer dealt with it. It’s shocking how that company is getting away with leaving all that mess everywhere. Some of those pellets must’ve been there ages. That silo with the door missing was full of leaves I notice. That’s been off for ages by the looks of it. Be interested to know what happens as a result of the audit. We need a “What More Revisited” video 👍🏼😊

So he comes out to ask you questions and when you start asking him questions he doesn't have time for you. Also, They don't seem to like being told what to do by a non-employee but I bet they inform employees of their short comings all the time. Edit: and they clearly only like to look like they are for the environment, not actually be for looking after it.
