The last segment of the video shows that Cleetus is a classy caring guy. To care enough about if someone else is going to simply feel bad about something, and to then do something so effortless to reverse that feeling such as that last little speech in the video, truly proves that there is a genuinely kind heart inside of that gentleman. What a rollercoaster of emotions this video gave me. Car was bouncing, and probably only has front brakes plumbed to the pedal. Cleet mentioned it had individually controlled rear brakes for steering while wheelie'ing. So seeing how the front is paper light, on leaf springs, and brakes are probably in the front (didn't see George using hand controls for rears), there was no way that thing was stopping. MAYBE, only MAYBE could he commit to hitting the bank, he may have been able to save it, or at least wall rub.

1000% ole cleet was in what you call a high stress situation you could hear it in his breathing.

What I've always liked about this channel is the human beings, not the characters or the story line or the empire. The actual people. Things were scary for a few moments but what will keep me coming back to this channel is that the second that car went over G wasn't a business owner, or a boss or a KZreadr or a Character he was just a buddy scared for his buddy. Thanks for entertaining us guys but definitely stay safe. Also not just helmets and fire suits... Get those window nets closed. Obviously many bad things could have happened but the real easy one would have been a limb crush if George had not kept his hands on the wheel. Good instincts George! Glad everyone is safe. Listening to James' panic when he said "George!" really goes to show how close of friends they are. That is the sound of panic when someone is in fear of their or someone else's safety. Glad over all it went well and a lesson was learned. Looking forward to the future!

Couple things: 1. I am immensely grateful that George is ok...could have been way worse. 2. He was out of the pedal and onto the brakes WAY before that crash. Something was very off with that car, which brings me to... 3. You guys absolutely HAVE to do a shakedown run in these things way before you stick a driver in the cockpit and go full-send. Anyway, sounds like you all came away from the crash with a new outlook, some good lessons learned, a new museum piece...and undoubtedly a "Golly, what in the world?!" Fiero t-shirt. 🤣 Keep up the great work guys, and be safe.

My thoughts exactly. George wasnt even pushing it, got on the brakes early and you could tell the car just did NOT want to stop. Looked like a mixture of bad brakes and a very poorly set up suspension. Nothing he could do about it. That was bound to happen to anyone of them at some point

It looked like the biggest issue with those brakes was the suspension of the car. Brakes don't work if the tires are off the ground.

So glad George is safe. You can hear the fear in everyone's voices when they were running. Suits on, helmets on, belts on and window nets up guys. We love the content you guys give us but we love you guys more. The cars and the content is nothing without you guys. As viewers we need to hound them as much as they will surely hound each other now about safety. So guys, lets make sure they stay on top of it. Stay safe you crazy bastards, we don't want you guys going anywhere.

My heart skipped a beat, for a moment all I could think of was "Not George!!!". Let's add real fire suppression systems to the entire fleet as well, they're pretty short money, fairly easy to fab in when the cage gets installed and pay for themselves 100 times over the one time that you actually have to pull the handle. Fire suits are nice and all (when people actually wear them), but real fire suppression systems can be amazing.

Man you can hear the fear in Cleetus’ breath as he ran toward George. Glad George is ok, that was one heck of a scary situation. No weight in the front to plant the car down and the leaf spring front end just kept bouncing because of that making the stopping distance and controllability even worse. George did the best he could to save the car. That’s why they always have their helmets on whenever they’re on the track because you just don’t know when an incident can occur and it’s better to always be safe.

Except they didn't wear helmets before they realized they needed too, i can't remember what crash it was i think a supercar that made him change the policy to helmets all the time. He wasn't wearing one most the time after buying the track even vaugn gitten said it scared him that he wasn't. Now they do wear them all the time but there's plenty of videos of them not wearing them. The jet boats are the real sketchy things, having a 3rd man up top that you know is getting tossed around when you do jumps is scary.

Yeah anybody would feel bad about it. But it looked like he did everything he could. slow-mo it looks like the front brakes stopped working after it bounced. Or maybe it just bounced his foot off the pedal, he said it was in a shitty spot. but at that point, swerving was the only option, or else he was gonna land on the roof of the shop lol. No suspension + uneven ground + hard swerve = barrel rolls.

Proof cleetus is a real friend George wrecked this car and instead of cleetus being like oh well it's gone and blame George he went out and got George another car and had it wrapped. Cleeter takes good care of his crew/friends and it's amazing and what got me in to this channel

fortunately no one hurt, good example of how important the suspension is. The vehicle bounced completely so that no wheel had proper grip to brake, wow.... The suspension surely works well on smooth flat road. (without wheely...)

Sucks that this happened but it was really nice to see Cleet show immediate concern for his friend. It was also nice to see the end of the video where Cleet takes responsibility for what could and will happen. Thanks again for the years of videos.

Glad George is ok. It reminded me of Jay Leno going for a ride in Hemi Under Glass and getting rolled. Cleetus, you’re a stand up guy for how you handle your shop, and what goes in in it.

@14:00 - LOL - I watched this video after all the recent jet boat videos… which were sketchy w/ sinking boat in powerful river w/ George who can’t swim. Glad you all are safe! A+ video as always.

Ive never wheelied a car, but Ive been riding dirtbikes, mopeds and big bikes since i was 15. judging by the bouncy front end your probably best of doing a 5-10mph rolling start speed up a lil (like a single blip no clutch, in gear) hit your brakes hard, let it bounce and full throttle to get it up to Balance point.

Doesn't matter if it's a $500 or $500,000 car or golf cart, peoples life and safety comes first, glad George is alright and that's all that matters, cars can be re-built, can't replace a life though.

The roll cage did its job, George is safe, its a damn good day when you can walk away. Stay safe guys. Lets have some fun

That was my take away as well. It was decently built but probs needed a once over before ripping lol.

Same as Leno's ride in cuda under glass :) I think the reason cause the rear wheelbase is short and no weight at front to give it any controllability. That's like 80/20 balance

Glad George is ok, certainly could have been a lot worse. The last 30 seconds of Cleeter talking really just shows his character, what a G.

Gotta give George props for hanging on to that as long as he did. It's tough to steer a car when it's only got one wheel on the ground. He kept his cool and worked it to the end. Well done.

Agreed. Accidents happen in the most unthought of time. Glad Senor Buenos Dias is good, will be really happy to see those guys follow through more on the safety stuff, I love this channel too much for something to happen to any of them.

The last time something sketchy happened they instituted a mandatory "EVERYONE MUST ALWAYS WEAR A HELMET AT THE FREEDOM FACTORY" rule and it is now strictly adhered to. So now they're just going to make it better by requiring everyone wear a firesuit with a helmet.

Wow, that was sketchy! You'll have that with those wheelstander jobs lol. Glad George is okay.

He definitely had the brakes locked up. So much weight on the back the front tires couldn't grab. Glad George is okay.

One thing I really enjoy watching your channel is you don't get excited and berate anyone when something breaks or doesn't run right or even when they mess up a vehicle. George's laugh is contagious. Happy to see he wasn't hurt

I forgot about this gem, LS George just starting on the team and flipping a car. Wow this whole team is amazing and Cleetus has found some great people to surround himself with.

That's how true friends treat one another. Hats off to ya Cleeter, making sure your boy is good and not giving one flying you know what about the machine. Scary incidents open your eyes and gets those gears grinding about personal safety. Keep it moving forward and use the PPE available. Hell yeah brother!!!!!

There's a line between having fun and being scared when you're doing dangerous stuff. Everyone who watched this video got to see what happens when that line is crossed. Thank you for showing us this video and it's very obvious how much you care about your team Cleet. We're all glad no one was hurt and the only loss was a fiero. Yall did good that day. @@googleleavemynamealone9145 That does happen a lot when boys play, I wont speculate since we only see what in the videos but I hope he's doing it because he wants to and that its an environment where you can say: No, this is too sketchy for me, without backlash. Got to say though, as easy as it is to get lax with safety, George is quick to grab a helmet, even riding in the back of the marauder.
