Now, anyone that claims old decks were just random cards, this right here is what we used to do for our decks. There were no specific archetypes to use, nothing was directly connected to another card, you just had to create your own puzzle and fit it together.

Covid 2020: TP shortage Covid 2021: Yu-gi-oh card shortage TBH it's quite annoying that this is going on. I've gotten 1.....1 box of GFTP.....I really don't want to buy it online and have to wait a week or 2 for it to be delivered. It's insane.

Doing cube draft at the moment and I made a crazy zombie deck with pyramid turtle and also got lucky with the red eyes zombie and Ryu kokki. Nice to get a little engine like that in a 350 card cube.

Level 1 Exodius Advanced Ritual Art Otk: Zexal era, the idea was simple ss Exodius then AVR a level 7 to boost his attack to 7k then attack with him and the ritual for game. I think I ran 9 maybe 8 of the best level 1s and 1 Frostosaurus (level 6 normal with the highest atk). Pre-prep made multiple ritual summons possible so Frostosaurus was necessary fodder. I also ran Relinquished for fun and as a Preparation of Rites target :3

One time I made a deck on duel links that just stalls and beats the opponent by giving them lava golem and I didn’t expect it to work as much as it did.

15:27 I think I noticed a mistake on Paul's end. When he activated Checksum Dragon, the effect is supposed to allow the user to gain life points equal to *half* of its defense points. So it'd be 1200 LP, not 2400 LP.

Been trying to get back into yugioh with a friend and I went to Walmart to get yugioh cards and turns out they only sell them on a first come first serve basis on Friday at 8 am so we went expecting a couple kids and NOPE. There was 20 neck beards in line that looked like they hadn’t showered since the pandemic started. We turned around and went him and clicked on that sexy Team APS TCGPlayer link 😏

These makeshift-deck duel challenges are my favorite! Thank you for keeping 'em coming.

Man sometimes I'd wish to have a Walmart around here. You guys are having so much fun with your friends doing theese challanges

@@epi1763 It s not rural at all. I live in a Nuremberg in Germany. Walmart is as far as I know only in the US. I already tried to order lots from Amazon but got too many duplicates and the decks weren't as fun. We got a local game store but there are only the official products. Theese even tho they are sketchy atleast allow you to build funny trash decks. Sometimes as we saw in Team APS videos, they even make some crazy pulls. ^^

Our Walmart doesn't even sell yugioh cards cuz city hall said that they weren't allowed to sell 'satanic paraphernalia' which basically just means pride stuff and trading cards.

The wallmart near my house actually just stopped selling cards. You can only order them online now lol

Been like that for almost a YEAR, the last couple months I’ve went every other day getting the scraps I still can if there’s even a pack or two left! And that’s including the 4 Walmart’s, two targets, and 3 game stops in my city. I can’t believeeee this is just now happening to you guys APS

My Walmart never has yugioh, occasionally they have pokemon but never yugioh. They have a but load of magic cards that don't seem to be selling lol. People have gotten really good at stealing cards from Walmart, its been going on for many years. I'd reckon they just don't bother restocking them anymore cause their records show they are not making any money off of them.

I'm not sure if I'm relieved that you guys are having the same problem I am right now or if it makes me more sad that it's so widespread with local stores not really carrying any cards. The only place I find cards at are game shops these days and well...sadly the only things they have lately are genisis impact(I got like 4 booster boxes whem it came out and I've lomg since pulled anything you cam from that pack) and I bought the last Max gold from em and that was it. Is cool to see dark cat with a white tail actually world. Having dabled with bounce decks for fun over the years, I've found it rarely gets a chance to work, sadly. Since it WILL be destroyed by the battle that sets it off and it requires you to thus have ANOTHER monster on the field you are willing to bounce on your side to get the on your opponents sized returned, it will most often just fizzle. Nowaday you can use impenetrable attack on it to ensure it lives the battle to bounce itself but that's such a waste of resources..especially for what is essentially a worse Penguin soldier. It also has almost NO synergy with other bounce cards. I've built a surprisingly effective bounce deck using nightmare Penguin, Penguin solier, abyss soldier and nopenguin. Since they are all low level water monsters a lot of water support works and they can remove a lot of the opponents field quickly while maintaining field presence to poke a bunch or xyz summon for water monsters like leviathan dragon or nightmare shark. It is annasuming to most opponents but can engine nicely with the right support spells/traps while providing fir some buffed up direct attacks. Aqua Jet makes the deck dangerous fast when you use a few copies. Sadly, dark cat with nine tails just drowns in a build like this..water and the types commonly associated with the attribute seem to get a lot of the bounce effects. Some earth, rocks got it too but Dark cat seems confused..it goes with little else that can bounce. At least this cat got its day with you guys!

I love all the videos, but still waiting for y'all to duel with y'all's best decks. A house tournament

How about a match where you after you shuffle, when the opponent cuts, they take those card into their hand deck. So you are playing with a random half deck of your opponents' cards.

In this episode the Audio is as good as the decks they are playing.

The ruling on Final Attack Orders says "monsters cannot change their battle positions" only refers to the manual changing of battle position. Card effects can still change battle position Granted, the other effect of Final Attack Orders would just switch the monster right back to attack mode, but if an effect needs to switch a monster's battle position, such as with Skeeter Skimmer, you can totally do that (in fact it's kinda busted here, because Skeeter Skimmer isn't a once per turn, so basically he just can't die)

I have a decent collection that have been kept in fantastic condition since the early 2000s. I'm saving money for an engagement ring and I've decided it's time to move on and let them have a new home. That Final Attack Orders and Childs Play had negative synergy but I loved it 😂

The 5$ packs from target , I got that same pack from my dollar general and pulled cyber twin , rampage , fortress, and an overdragon . I had two cyber dragons for years and took those as stepping stones to build my cyber dragon deck and now that’s my main deck . All thanks to the 5 dollar packs.

I don’t even play Yugioh (Not counting Duel Links, which I do off and on again). I just like watching you guys play.

The Target by me hasn't stocked in months and I don't live by any Walmarts or local shops so I usually just buy online I miss seeing them in stores lol

There were more target cards then Walmart cards. 100 Target cards vs 10 packs (5 or 10 cards each). Paul got more to choose from. But it's Walmart that didn't have many cards left.

R.I.P. cardboard rectangles at big box stores. I'm glad I have an amazing LGS. It's because bog box stores are no longer carrying any card games due to theft and fights. My local Walmart is clear of all card games.

Yeah you totally didn't use Checksum dragon right lol. His effect is the following: "When an opponent's monster declares an attack you can special summon this card from your hand, then, gain LP equal to half this card's defense. This Attack position card cannot be destroyed by battle." You added 2400 LP every time you summoned him, but should have only added 1200

See this is why MtG rocks with alternate formats. I could get a huge cube of five sets and not make any archtypes but support every commander deck from the colors alone. If I hit an older card that's worthless I can cash in too usually. YGO needs to catch up to Wizards cause they don't set the bar too high, just higher than Konami XD

What's been going on with cards lately. They're all sold out and at the Walmart in my town you can only buy them on Friday's at 3 pm at the technology desk.
