Sadly this result had been coming. We've not played that well for a while now (brighton, man u, sheff utd etc) and been scraping through matches and results. Sunday is a big match for confidence and there needs to be a reaction. Credit to Atalanta, they executed their game plan perfectly

Fatal mistake, Atalanta works a lot with young players willing to play well, also running for a place in Europa League in Serie A, not exactly the kind of team to think they came to visit Liverpool, also Bergaml is a complicated field with hostile pressure, will be hard to pass.

At least Klopp and DVD are humble and good to see them give credit to the opposition
