Honestly, it doesn't matter if you have watched previous adaptations or not. I watched 'Ultimate note' without a single clue about Grave robbers chronicles. I only knew about 'The mystic nine' because I loved watching dramas that Lay Zhang acted. However, even though I later found out 'Ultimate note' and 'The Mystic nine' both belong to same series, I watched 'Ultimate note' first. If you're able to connect the details in line correctly, it's okay to watch 'Ultimate note' first and the rest.

ultimate note.. it is the 3rd season of lost tomb series.. you can only watch this season. but if you want to know the hints and things better, then watch lost tomb season 1 and season 2 also..

@@lanzhouswolfpup no... 3rd season name is ultimate note.. you can watch it on iqiyi website.. or drama cool website.. because only 5 or 6 episodes of ultimate note are available on you tube. actually chronological order of this drama is: season 1= the lost tomb season 2 = the lost tomb 2: explore with the note season 3= ultimate note season 4= Tibetan sea flower ( this season is not aired yet) season 5= tomb of the sea season 6= reunion: sound of providence season 7 = reunion: sound of providence 2 edited= there's also another season i forgot to mention.. named "the time raiders" its a movie. luhan played the role of wu xie

@@moulibhattacharjee4463 yes they are... mystic nine is the prequel series that does not include the main characters Wu Xie, Zhang Qiling, or Pangzi. It will, however, help you to better understand the family politics that is mentioned throughout the lost tomb series.. i have not seen mystic nine completely but i know that there is a story of wu xie's uncles, father, grandfather, grand grandfather, zhang rishan, zhang qishan (uncle budha)... the story revolves around these characters..
